"Untie her!" Austin yells at Alec, who seems surprised. Why would he want me untied? Maybe my father actually paid off the ransom. Alec pulls a knife out of his pocket, and cuts the rope over my hands. As soon as I'm free, I rub my sore wrists and ankles. But not for long because Austin grabs me by my hair and drags me out of the room. I cry out, begging him to stop. My nails start digging into the floors of the old house, giving me splinters in the process. My pinky finger gets stuck in a gap and I yell for Austin to stop so I can release my finger. He doesn't, and I can hear my finger popping out of place. For a moment, I don't feel the pain. Probably because I have been through so much that my nerves have probably shut down. When Austin had finally stopped dragging me, I look at my hand.
My pinky was pointed in the opposite direction, and I rub my fingers over it, feeling the bones out of place. No matter what I do, my hand won't stop shaking. But, I still didn't feel the pain. I look where I am and see that I am in a bathroom. I crawl towards the sink and put my hands under the cold water, also splashing my hair and face. I hear the door open and I look to see Austin, even more frustrated than before.
"Oh, you want to get cleaned off, do you?" Austin starts walking towards me as his evil smirk grows more and more."Here, let me help you." Austin shuts the door, and grabs me by hair, yet again. He picks me up and tosses me in the bathtub, pain coursing through my entire body. Austin turns on the shower as hot it goes, and holds the shower head over my face. The water was so hot, I actually felt as if I were being burned alive. But, as fast as it had begun, it had ended. Someone thankfully turned the water off.
"What the hell, Austin? Are you crazy?" Alec yells. Austin looks at me, back at Alec and walks out of the room. Alec picks me up and takes me back to the room where I was tied up. He sits me down on the mattress in the corner of the room, and tosses some clothes at me. Alec starts to walk towards the door, when he stops himself.
"I am trusting you not to run away. I'll let you sleep on the mattress for a few hours and then I'll have to tie you back up. I'll make sure it's not as tight as my brother had done though." He looks me in the eyes. "If you run, Austin will find you and kill you." And he walks out of the room. I frantically change out of my wet, bloody clothes and put on the clothes Alec had given me. I was thankful he had given me the grey sweatpants because it was freezing here, wherever here was. I was also happy to have not only a t-shirt but a hoodie as well. I then, go under the blankets on the mattress, and try to sleep as best as I can. But, that's when I heard a noise.
I get up and try to look outside, but it was so dark. I try to look closer and see that there was Austin and Andrew with someone else. He had brown hair and that was all I could notice. I knew he wasn't Andrew, so maybe he was just passing through? I scream, but nobody can hear me. I look around the room to find something to break the window. But, Austin had broken everything in here that was useful. So, I had to break it as if I were in a movie. I find my bloody t-shirt and wrap it around my hand, and count to three.

I hit the window. It didn't budge, but my hand hurt like hell. I try again and again, until it finally cracks. My hand was starting to bleed but I didn't care. I might be able to get away. One more time, I tell myself. This time, with all my power, I push my hand through the glass and scream for help. The man looks at me, and Austin runs in the house. If this boy didn't help me, I was surely dead. Just in case, I picked up a piece of the broken glass, and hide it in my bra. I needed some type of self-defense and judging by my hands and injured leg, I couldn't physically fight him. He was much too strong for me anyhow. Austin runs in the room, and punches me so hard that I pass out.
When I wake up, I am not only tied up and gagged, but I am lying on the floor of a different room. I look around, and there's a window. I get up and try to move my hands toward my chest to retrieve the piece of glad I had hidden in my bra. After about twenty minutes and quite a lot of frustration, I had finally gotten the piece of glass. I picked it up and put the sharp object in my mouth, and start cutting the rope tied around my wrists and ankles. After that, I try to open the door, but it wouldn't budge. I try to look through the keyhole and see that nobody is here. What, are they stupid? Going back to the window I had seen earlier, I find out that the window is open! These people really are stupid. As fast as I can, I jump out of the window, being as quiet as possible. But, being as clumsy as me, my leg was caught in the windowpane and I fell into a large pile of metal. A piece of shrapnel hits the back of my head and I can feel the blood pouring out. God, will I ever make it out alive?
I hear a truck pull up and I panic. The boys were back, and judging by their driving, they were drunk too. I quietly walk around the house and jump behind a tree. Andrew starts to walk in my direction, and I was scared that I was caught. Thankfully, he just came over here to relieve himself on a tree. With all this snow over here, I could run and nobody would hear my footsteps. And that's exactly what I did. I ran for my life, not caring about the pain building around my leg. I was free, and I was going to make this count.
After about ten minutes of running, I stop to give my leg some rest and lean against a tree. My feet are stinging with pain, since I'm not wearing any shoes. As I rub my feet for warmth, I take a look at my surroundings. I have no idea where I am, and I am scared I'm running in the wrong direction.
I hear a noise, and realize that it's Austin and Alec. I start running again, and I hear gunshots behind me. Were they really going to shoot me? I ran faster, until I fell in a ditch and my leg gave out. I scream in pain and I start to cry. Did they hear me? I peek my head over the ditch, look for Austin and Alec. I don't see them anywhere. I reach in my pocket to make sure that I still had the piece of glass. I try to get up, and it's useless. My leg needed rest. I crawl deeper into the ditch until I see that Andrew is right behind me.
"Someone's not a good girl anymore," he said. Andrew walks closer toward me and I can see that he's about to yell out for Austin. Without thinking, I punch Andrew in the face and run. But he reaches his hand out and catches my leg. He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder, but I don't give up. I kick him in the groin and he falls to the ground, letting go of me. I then kick Andrew and fell over, but I got right back up and starting punching and yelling until he's unconscious. I can't have him following me, although I think I did more damage to me than his body. But hitting him made me feel good and got all this adrenaline pumping inside me. I start running again, and I see a street. Thank God. Tears of joy spring to my eyes as I make it over towards the road. I begin to jog down the road, waiting for a car to pass. A few minutes pass and there were no cars to be found. Does anybody drive down this road? Then again, that might have been why the boys chose the old shack in the middle of nowhere to hide a kidnapped girl he held for ransom.
"Blair, you can't hide from me!" I hear in the distance. I try to run faster but my leg gives out, yet again. I can't give up now. I'm so close to freedom.
"Where are you, you little bitch?" I hear, even closer than before. I look up and I can see Austin standing by the trees. With his back towards me, I hide on the side of the road and the grey sweatpants and hoodie almost blends in with the snow. Thank you, Alec.
Right now, I start to think about my father. I wonder what he's doing right now. Could he actually be worried for me, or is he still working over case files for another raise? If my mother were here, she'd have a reward for whoever finds me. Even my mother herself would be out here looking for me. I just-
"There you are." And I hear a gun click. Austin stands about ten feet away from me, in the middle of the road, pointing a revolver at my chest.
"Say another word. I dare you." And he smiles. I take a deep breath. I lost. He caught me red handed. Austin walks closer to me and he grabs me.
"Where is my brother?" He yelled, his bad breath hovering my nose. I make an unpleasant sound, and he hits me.
"I'm only going to ask you one more time. Where. Is. My. Brother!" With every word, he pointed the gun closer and closer to my temple. I was terrified. I really think this is my last moment on Earth when the unthinkable happens.
