Lacey's p.o.v
I was just in my room listening to Elvis Presley when I heard Sara call for me (that's my foster mom's name). So then I went over to her.
"Hey Lacey there is a letter for you" she said handing it to me and I went over and grabbed it, then I went right up to my room. I jumped on my bed and ripped it open. I read the first line and I thought I was gonna cry. Until I realized no I don't cry. It was a letter from my brother. This is what it said.
" dear Lacey I wanted to write to you to let you know My name is Keith Matthews and I'm your brother. I live in Tulsa Oklahoma and I have been looking for you for so long and I finally got your address. I have my own house and I had a room prepared for you. So I bought you a train ticket to Tulsa and you will be living with me. Your train leaves June 14. I can't wait to see you I miss you so much love Keith (you can call me two-bit). P.s I put a picture of me in the envelope so you know what I look like." I looked at the picture and I smiled. Then I grabbed the train ticket out of the envelope. "I'm going to Tulsa!!" I yelled with joy and my Sara walked in with a smile "you knew!!?" I yelled "I wanted it to be a surprise" she said with a smile then I just hugged her. Then I started packing. I'm going home.
