Terror Trolls

Natsu's Pov:

The train always feels like forever when I'm not on Lucy's lap. Her fingers drifting through my hair. Still 5 hours! Before I could carry on my thoughts, I was hit heavily on the back of the head causing me to lose conciousness. Everything was black then nothing...

When I had awakened we were walking through an empty village. Well it looked empty but I could smell a few people hiding in nearby buildings. Happy placed me down in front of the requesters address realising I had woken up. We entered the home and were met with a small man who was slightly injured. "Fairy Tail I presume?" He spoke with a deep voice. Erza nodded in return as we were invited to join him in the living room. Erza, Gray, Wendy and I sat opposite the man, as he explained the trolls that continued to terrorise his village. He told us of a nearby forest he believes they are coming from. Due to more villagers becoming injured he even raised the reward, 800,000! I can buy the thing I wanted to buy Lucy now.

After a short walk we arrived at the edge of the forest. Erza turned to Wendy and I "You two fly above the forest and see if you can spot any of the trolls, Gray and I will search from the ground." And with that the mission had started, after spotting a few near a cave I flew down and knocked them away with my Fire Dragons Roar however they got back up, it took me a while to be able to take out some of the trolls. They had a great deal of power, I ended up coming out with a couple of scratches but nothing major. I worried about Wendy but I'm sure she can handle it. Plus now she has been training I'm sure she is even stronger then before.

By the time it had gotten dark we camped out at the village and waited for the trolls to attack. Only a few arrived, we must have handled the rest. Gray used his Ice Floor to bring them down whilst Erza used her Heaven Wheel to finish them off. We had night shifts just in case the village was attacked a second time. Even though it never came. I had the last night shift and woke everyone up so we could head back to the requester. I didn't know his name? I'll just call him Reginald. Perfect!

We arrived at Reginald's home, he had looked considerably better then the day before. "Have the trolls been handled?" He asked in a calm tone. "Yes, we would now like to collect the reward money so we can make our way home." The man nodded no. No! What! "Before you go I have another request, my daughter went missing not so long ago. Plus I heard dragon slayers have a great sense of smell. Would you mind trying to find her? You will be rewarded." We all gazed at one another before nodding in agreement. "Do you have something I can smell to track her down?" The small man got on his tip toes handing me an old diary. "This is hers, she has been gone a while so if she isn't found in a couple of days I will call off the search. I don't want to waste too much of your time."

Lucy's Pov:

Natsu and the others have been gone around a day and a half now. It was around noon now and I was still in my Pj's. Guess it's time to get changed and head to the guild, maybe I'll take a job! But I can't Natsu would shout at me. What if it's easy and doesn't involve fighting, yeah I'm sure I can do that. As I arrived at the guild I headed straight for the request board. Here this one looks easy.

~I need someone to help me at my restaurant, it would be appreciated. I need a happy young woman who doesn't mind working long hours.~
Yajima-San

I went there the other day, I'm sure he would let me help. I strode over to the bar handing Mira the mission to stamp. "Natsu isn't going to be happy with you doing a mission Lucy." Should I go? Well it's only waitressing. "I'm only going to help out at a restaurant, plus he doesn't need to know about it, wink wink." Mira smirked at me "You do know you're not supposed to say wink whilst you are winking." I made my way home so I could pack the essentials before heading to Yajima-Sans restaurant.

Once I had arrived it was very busy. Every table was taken and the other waitress' were rushing around. That's when I noticed Evergreen, she was also helping out at the restaurant. I noticed Yajima-San in the back room as I approached him. "Hello Yajima-San , I heard you requested some help?" He nodded at me and threw a uniform at me. I walked into a separate room to put it on but whilst entering a huge explosion went off. It threw rubble around the restaurant, I pulled customers out from under the rocks and told them to get to safety. Evergreen and I made our way to the cause of the explosion. It was them, the same mages from the temple and the guild. Oh no!

Immediately I summoned Sagittarius, Capricorn and Loke. Taking out all of the mages they were able to, I held my whip in my hand keeping those who got past Ever and my spirits away from the customers. That was until Ever was thrown across the restaurant and Sagittarius was sent back to the celestial spirit realm. Powerful mages approached me, shooting powerful dark magic in my direction. I attempted to dodge but was stuck in place by the surrounding rubble. It hit me straight in the leg bringing me to the floor, before cold hands grabbed me and I was hit over the head hard. Everything went black around me I called out the only thing that made me feel safe "Natsu.."

Natsu's Pov:

We had been flying for hours, I have been trying to catch the girls scent but.. Wait there it is. "Happy fly down in that direction." We had found our way to a neighbouring village, it was small but she was definitely there. I tracked the scent all the way to a small cottage at the far side of the village. I knocked gently and a small girl emerged. "Hello." Happy dropped down on my shoulder before replying, "Hey there, we have been requested to take you to your father." She looked shocked at our answer "He wants me to come home?" I then looked back with a confused face "Yeah..?" She then went back inside to pack some items, before Happy flew her to the village and then me after. The reunion was quite cute but I definitely wanted to go home now. So after collecting our reward we jumped back on the train to Magnolia.
