Baby Shower

Natsu's Pov:

I woke up as the suns rays hit my eyes. One of my arms was wrapped protectively around Lucy whilst the other hand tried to block out the light. It's still quite early I guess I can let her sleep a little longer. Maybe I should make her breakfast, but I can't cook :/ hmmm I bet she has some books on cooking. Here! I pulled a giant book out from under the cupboard in the kitchen. It must've been around 5000 pages or something ridiculous. I felt like crying, as I skipped through thousands of pages looking for something to do with pancakes. Mm I really want pancakes. Once I had found the page 2693 on pancakes, Happy decided to join me in the kitchen. "Morning Natsu, what are you doing? You can't cook!" I frowned towards Happy "It can't be that hard plus I have a book to help me." Happy smirked at Natsu's comment "Should I make a fire escape now or later?" Haha what a joker "We already made one Happy, after training remember. I am a fire dragon slayer." Happy sighed "Well at least we have one, what time is the 'thing'." Wow he remembered something "It's at 12." Happy nodded before flying towards me grabbing kitchen equipment and washing his paws. "I will help you then Natsu."

Lucy's Pov:

I woke up shivering, why am I so cold? I then turned my head to the side and realised Natsu wasn't beside me. Where is my hot water bottle of a boyfriend?! Confusion bewildered my mind until I heard a big crash from the kitchen. I slowly made my way out of bed, putting on my fuzzy pink slippers and heading towards the kitchen. When I walked in the walls were covered in flour, pans and milk covered the floor and Natsu lay there on the floor with Happy as he must've slipped. I clenched my stomach from laughter as tears ran down my eyes. I gazed towards the clock. All this at 9am! I gave Natsu my hand as I pulled him to his feet and all he did was grin and handed me a plate of perfect pancakes.

The kitchen looked like a war zone whilst these pancakes were untouched. I brung it to the table and took a bite. Well I'm not dead yet so that is a good sign. Mm these are so nice! "Mm Natsu how did you-" "You had a recipe book, had, its not very useful anymore." He said as he handed me the book dripping with milk and covered with flour. I was a little annoyed but I can always get another plus look how hard they tried. "Thank you so much." I said as I finished the last of the pancakes "but now you need to leave me for a while to clean this mess." Natsu was about to comment until I barged in before him "I will clean it Natsu, why don't you go to the guild?" Natsu nodded before saying "Okay be ready for 11:45am, I will pick you up and bring you to the guild." Natsu then smiled and exited the house with Happy following behind him. They're so silly sometimes I said as I admired there fight with the pancake mixture.

Happy's Pov:

We entered the guild causing a gasp from the members inside. They probably thought Luce was with us. "Don't worry she isn't here" Natsu said causing the guild to re lighten up. The guild hall was covered in blue and pink decorations since we didn't know the gender. I think Wendy might and she may have told some people so I'm going to watch which presents they give. Detector Happy, I'm not going to tell Natsu or Luce though. Ribbons were hung around the door and walls, she will really appreciate this. I turned towards the stage in the guild to be met with a mountain of presents. I wonder how they fit all the presents in the guild. Carla waved me over from the opposite side of the guild. "Hey Carla." She smiled and gazed at me "Hey Happy, do you think the baby will be a girl or a boy?" Hmm I never thought about it but I know what I want it to be. "A boy??" I replied sounding unsure. She chuckled at my reply "Well I think it will be a boy aswell." Wow she actually agreed on something with me, maybe I am growing on her. She stared at me with a confused glance as I noticed I was smirking whilst going through my previous thoughts. "Anyway I'm going to find Wendy, see you later Happy." She smiled as she flew towards Wendy and Romeo sitting near the front of the guild.

It was now around 11:30am and Luce will be coming soon. I guess Natsu and I should be heading for her now. Natsu just finished hanging a baby green banner that read 'Congratulations Natsu and Lucy'. Me being very intelligent picked up a small red marker from behind the bar and decided to improve it by writing 'plus Happy' along the bottom of it. Mira along with the other members laughed at my approach. Mira came towards Natsu and I as we sat at a small table catching our breathes "Time to grab Lucy you two, chop chop!" She then lifted Natsu by his scarf and lightly pushed him in the direction of the door. I flew above his head before placing myself on his shoulder.

At exactly 11:45am we arrived back at our home where Luce was waiting for us outside.

Natsu's Pov:

Lucy was wearing a short baby blue dress with short little baby pink bows along the middle and also a little one sectioning off a piece of her hair. She was a beautiful as ever! I held her hand as we walked along, our footsteps in time with eachother. Happy flew over and placed himself on top of Lucy's head whilst grinning to himself. I'm pretty excited about this too. Before she could reach to pull the guild doors open I grabbed her wrist and spun her to face me before crashing my lips into hers. We kissed passionately before I pulled away "Lucy I can't wait to spend my life with you, Happy and our little baby. I can't wait for the times to come, so for now let's make some memories." I finished off my speech by pulling open the door. Revealing everything we set up for Lucy. Everyone jumped out of place, repeating what it says on the banner, even saying 'plus Happy' as we entered. A bright grin appeared on Lucy's face as she spun around in the centre of the guild admiring everything we had done. "You did all this for me?" Lucy asked with surprise in her voice. "Of course we did Lucy, you're our family." Then she spun to face the mountain of presents, her eyes widened and I swear her mouth made a perfect circle. "I can't accept all that!" She said bluntly before laughing tears coming out of her eyes. Levy, Mira, Cana, Lisanna, Juvia and Erza all ran up to her and pulled her into a hug. Erza spoke up "This is all for you Lucy so enjoy it, oh and the baby." She giggled at the end before the guild all put their drinks in the air and the party begun.
