Returning Journey

Mira's Pov:

"Natsu do you remember where the ruins are?" Nastu looked at me from the bar "Yes, are we ready to go?" I looked around the guild hall before turning back to Natsu "Yes I believe so." We then headed in a group to the door. It was going to take a while to get back to the temple, I just hope she is there. I hope the baby will be okay? What will happen to it in The Dark Gate?

Hours later we arrived back at the boundary forest. Natsu was sniffing the air to catch Lucy's scent but nothing yet. Erza and I walked at the front, while master walked at the back. We had taken into effect that we may be ambushed, we had planned everything out. I don't know how Natsu knew his way, all the trees look the same to me. He flew above with Happy watching us from in the air, guiding us and keeping an eye out for predators or monsters. Anything of the kind. It was very hot today, beams of sweat dripped down my forehead however we were quite covered up by the trees. Still I'd say it's around 40 degrees. I was wearing some cotton shorts and a pink tank top, with my hair down as usual. My little sis Lisanna matched with me, it was so cute. However Gray was suffering in the heat, so was Juvia. Juvia held onto Gray due to his low body temperature. While she used her water magic to hydrate the guild.

Stars then began to shine above us, the temperature dropped back down as the sun hid behind the mountains. "Time to set up camp." Erza said as she pulled out some blankets from the bag she carried. Master and I did the same, we had packed blankets prepared for our night in the woods. Although we would need night shifts, we don't know what surrounds us in these woods. Plus we are quite a noticeable group, we nearly filled an entire clearing. All the guild were chatting amongst themselves around a fire before bed. Levy spoke with Gajeel, Lily, Gray and Juvia. Probably about how they are such cute couples. Omg Gale and Gruvia! Carrying on... Natsu was talking to Wendy, Happy and Carla. Natsu didn't look very happy, I feel so sorry for him. We were about to get our first Nalu baby and Zeref just goes and fucks it up! My face scrunched at his name.

I was just sat alone watching everyone, it was quite enjoyable. Until an adorable idiot decides to wrap his arm around me. "Laxus?" He smiled down at me, he doesn't show it often and I love his smile "Hey Mira." Freid gave me so many death stares, I just stuck my tongue out at him. I cuddled into his warm embrace. I missed Laxus when the guild disbanded, we weren't together so I couldn't expect him to come with me. I want to be with him though, so I need to change things between us. "Laxus do you know what love is?" He turned to face me "Of course I do Mira." Then we both said simultaneously "so I need to tell you I love you." We both looked shocked at one another, our faces going red. You didn't get to see this side of Laxus very often. The rest of the night was spent in eachothers arms. Miraxus ship complete.

Wendy's Pov:

I was on first watch with Erza, Gray and Elfman. It was pretty quiet watching everyone sleep, except Macaos snoring. Everyone was so peaceful. That was until we heard a scream from one of the guild members. We all turned our heads to the same direction in worry. Creeping around the sleeping bags we found where the scream came from. The fierce unstoppable dragon slayer Natsu was balling his eyes out "Lu..cy no please, Nashi pl..ease be okay." I turned to Erza "Should we wake him up?" She nodded at me "If he carries on like this he will wake up the whole guild." With that we grabbed Natsu who on instinct slapped Erza so hard she flew across the ground. I think he was fighting someone to protect Lucy in his dream. I sprinted towards Erza and healed her scratches, it was a pretty hard hit. Nastu's eyes gazed around the small clearing then he ran towards Erza realising what he'd done. "Erza I'm so sorry." She looked sincerely towards him "It's okay Natsu, I know what you're going through, you didn't mean it. However are you really okay?" Nastu's stare dropped to the floor, Gray placed a hand on Natsu's shoulder and smiled "Them bastards took everything from me Erza. I can't lose her again! NOT 3 TIMES!" My thoughts went to the incident with future Lucy whilst Gray stopped Natsu from shouting. That was the worst thing I have ever had to witness.

Natsu then stayed on first watch with us. We sat further in the distance from the others. I decided I had to cheer him up. "Nastu?" He looked down towards me "Yes Wendy." Should I ask him this? It might help him. "You said Nashi in your sleep, is that what you want to call the baby?" I caught him staring at me for a second then his frown turned into a grin "Yeah, do you think Lucy will like it?"
"Yeah of course she will Natsu-San. Do you know that it's going to be a girl then?"
"Well I hope it's a girl that looks and is like Lucy, but we don't know which gender it will be yet."
"What are you going to call the baby if it's a boy?"
"I would like it to be called Igneel if it's a boy."
"Do you know what Lucy-San wants to call the baby?"
"Actually no she never did tell me."
"I think Mira might know but I forgot to ask."
"I'm sorry we went on that mission and weren't there with her Natsu-San."
"It's not your fault Wendy, I blame myself but I know Lucy wouldn't want me to. We couldn't have known it was going to happen."
"I agree."
And with that we both finished our shift and headed towards the temporary beds. After that talk I hope he sleeps a bit better. His and Happy's blanket is next to Carla and mine's so we should be able to hear if he gets another nightmare. It's weird to see that everyone seems to be with one another in the guild now. I know I like Romeo and I'm pretty sure it's obvious but he seems oblivious. Maybe he just hasn't noticed I'm there, but I have to be optimistic. Maybe one day we will be together. After my last train of thought I drifted to sleep. We would soon be back at the temple.
