"Petra?"
"Can you hear me?"
Aruruo's quite, raspy voice echoed quietly as his injured body layed down. His arm reached out for the girl's lifeless body.
"Don't leave me now Petra. Please."
The man pleaded, he had desperately tried to remove the image of Petra Ral being dead in his mind.
He did not want to take it.
"Please don't go. Not now Petra, don't leave me here."
Aruruo kept begging for a response. He was tired, but he was not going to give up.
"Please."
The man felt his life flash before him. Smiles and laughter, tears and anger, joy and everyone together. Aruruo didn't want it to end.
"Will you be my bride, Petra Ral?"
He drew his final breath.
