The Afterlife

God

Light filled around me and a warm voice welcomed me. I was comforted and overcome with a feeling of peace.

"Welcome to heaven." Said a soft voice. "This will be your home." Bellowed the voice. "This is where you will eat sleep live and love" it was easy to find who the voice belonged to.

It was non other then God himself. I couldn't make out a face for all there was before me was a bright light.

      "However" the voice spoke "there is one small problem." Although I probably should've been I wasn't the least bit uneasy. "I understand," I say "and what might that be?"

      The light starts to dim as I hear the voice grow louder. "You died before you had the chance to fall in love. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but that's only if..." He starts to trail off. "Only if what?" I question. "Only if they have lived pretty happy lives and if it was time. You were different. Your death was something we couldn't control. It was almost as if you wanted to die." The spark dims even more.

      I hear him sigh. "You need to find your love." He blurts. "Why?" I ask. "There is no time to question me. There is only time to start your journey. Hurry now and find your love, he's waiting for you, I promise."

    I was confused. It took me a while before I could fully process what went down. I had met God himself, we'll sort of. I didn't see his face but I talked to him, and he told me that there's someone out there I'm meant to be with?

      I walk towards the bright light that is God eager to ask more questions.

      I hear no more words coming from him and I continue my chase towards the bright light until I am consumed by it.

This is a sorta short chapter
I want them to be at least 500 words but this is longer then my previous ones so, also I am still working
on my other books if you'd like to read them.
