"I'm well, I'm not like a lot of other people." I start. "What do you mean?"
"I'm not technically seen by people, because I'm not really alive...I-I'm a ghost." I explain. He looks really stunned. "You must be joking." I shake my head. I can tell he still doesn't believe me. I sigh deeply as I start to walk away. "Where are you going?" He shouts after me. "To prove myself." I shout back.

I walk up to a girl and knock her books out of her hands while looking straight faced at Alan.

"What the heck was that?" She screams terrified. "What happened?" Her friend asks absolutely bewildered. "My, my books fell out of my hand but I didn't d-drop them." She manages to squeeze out completely flustered.

I look at him with a smug look. "You must've heard about me by now, Joanna?"
"Joanna? Joanna McBurkensen?"
"Oh so you have heard of me?" I say amused.

He nods vigorously. "Did it, did it hurt?" He asks hesitantly. "What when I fell from heaven?" I joke regaining my sarcasm and wit.

His eyes widen. "No I mean, yes you're pretty, but I mean that um did it hurt when you died?"
"I don't know, it was like being there one minute and gone the next I think I remember feeling a split second of pain though." We both go quiet.

"Wow I'm uh really sorry that happened to you."

"Look you don't have to hang out with me and don't do it just because you're sorry I get that it'd be embarrassing to talk to nothing, besides I'll do perfectly on my own."

"No, I want to talk to you please stay here I'll be back after class." He announces.

"Ok." I say finally.

"Come to my house after so we can discuss this ok just follow my car in my way home."

"Ok I will." I agree. He smiles at me. "So it's a date then?" He teases. I don't have time to respond before the bell rings and he leaves for class.
