chapter 16

riker's pov

I knew amy was nervous just by the look in her face and the fact that she had my hand in a death grip . we made our way to her parents . they had smiles on there faces .

hi mom hi dad hey little bro . this is riker lynch and his family amy said

its very nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Summers. this is my mom and dad and my siblings . oh and Ellington Ratliff.

well its nice to meet you . come on in make yourself's comfortable . amy's mom says .

I look at amy who was still squeezing my hand she was so beautiful. the sun was just hitting her the right way that her eyes sparkled and her hair even though she hadn't brushed it yet just blow lightly in the wind and sparkled with every gust .

she caught me starring and I just smiled . she finely let my hand go and we went in and helped to unload the groceries . then we went in to her living room . she sat down and looked right at me and said I'm gonna go take a shower then we can do whatever we want . I just need to calm down .

ok sweetheart I'll be waiting when you get out . and she got up kissed me and walked away .

Amy's pov .

riker's parents were talking with mine in the kitchen . i know it was about us . that made me really nervous if i was still with riker id still be squeezing his poor hand to death . worst yet i was sweating so bad now i need a shower for sure . 

I went in my room and got my cloths together then went into the kitchen .

I'm gonna go take a quick shower does any body have to go? 

no I think were all good here . mom said with a smile . I wouldn't be asking everyone except that's what I have to do when you only have one bathroom,  and over ten people in the house .

so I go back out in the living room and ask . I'm gonna be a while does anybody have to go?  

ya I do I'll be right back . riker said

getting up

he comes back and I go in an take my shower .

I locked the door and got undressed and got in . as soon as the water hit me I relaxed. so much that I stated to sing loud and clear  . I just let everything go for those few moments .  I was so happy that i even forgot that riker and his family were there . suddenly I stopped when I realized this . for ten minutes I belted out backstreet boys songs .  god what the hell happened to me . now I was  embarrassed I hurry up and get dressed and went back out in the living room .

riker's pov .

I think we were all amazed by what we just herd . she sounded so good but then it stopped . I wonder what happened . five minutes later there she was wet hair . blue shirt and damn those jeans! she looked amazing but she had her head down .

amy you were amazing!  Rydel said  we all agreed wow I didn't know you could sing like that . we all were shocked

amy just looked looked at me and said no I'm not I just got a little carried away . it really was no big deal .

she obviously was embarrassed . amy sweetheart you keep amazing me .

just then the doorbell rang .

amy got up and answered the door ..

omg!  Kayla what are you doing here?! 

oh I was in town and I called your mom yesterday and she said I could come and have easter dinner with you .

oh come in . its been so long  god I've missed you .

guys this is kayla she's a very old friend. ashley me and kayla all grew up together and kayla moved away and its been years since we've seen each other .

kayla this is riker my new boyfriend his sister Rydel and his three brothers rocky ryland and ross . and I can't forget there best friend Ellington Ratliff. 

but you can call me Ratliff or

ell or Ellington or mister Mustache.

we all laughed but laughed more when

ross got up to greet kayla and tripped over his own two feet . then he tried to play it off . my brother could be such a dork . him trying to act all smooth and he failed .

that was his normal hey that girls cute I need to go talk to her act . but this time it was worse then it normally was . all I know is this day just got more interesting .
