Amys pov

we all walked down to the playground,  and there ross and riker were. both of them just sitting there talking . i told everyone to be quiet so i could sneak up on riker,  so they did . ross looked but I put my finger on my mouth trying to get him not to say anything . I quietly walked up behind riker and wrapped my arms around him . he jumped and I kissed his cheek .

did I scare you sweetie?? I'm sorry .

ya a little bit but I'm glad its you . he just smiled at me .

I kissed riker passionately and everyone was laughing at us . 

I looked at ross and he wasn't laughing he just smiled but I think he was nervous. he looked and seen kayla and hid behind me . and kayla was hiding behind ashley now . it was cute seeing him so nervous but sad to . he is normally the one who can just walk up to a girl and be like hey I like you . that much I do know about him .

so I called ash over and said stay here with kayla I'm gonna go talk with ross . 

hey can you guys keep an eye on my little brother? 

sure sweetheart .

thank you riker I love you . I'll be back

no problem,  I love you to . he smiles and then my brother starts playing tag with all of them .

honestly one of the cutest things . as I was walking away with ross I turn to see rocky running slowly so my brother can tag him and everyone running cus rocky was chasing them . I just smiled and kept walking .

we reached a good distance away from the others when I asked ross what was wrong .

are you ok ross? he just looked at me and blushed

yes and no . his eyes filled with tears

oh sweetheart come here. i grabbed him and we sat down and he balled his eyes out . I wasn't sure why though.

amy I made a fool of myself and ........

and what ross?  come on you can tell me . don't cry ok .

I like kayla .. as he said as I wiped  away his tears .

what if I were to tell you she's interested??

really???

yes really . she just doesn't think that you like her . 

I do like her . he sniffled

I know you do ross . I've never seen you like this .

there's no need to explain . I hugged him and he smiled .

aww ross your so welcome . and don't worry I'm always here for you .

he hugged me and kissed me on the cheek . I hugged him back .

we started to walk back I lightly pushed him playfully and he smiled pushed me back and ran . I ran after him .

your not gonna get away that easy mister .

ross' pov

amy really made me feel better . she really is the sweetest . I didn't want to start crying but I just had to . I couldn't hold it in . I know if I can't talk to my siblings I can count on her. not that I don't love my siblings its just I feel more comfortable talking to amy about this .

she pushed me playfully then I pushed back . she gave me this look like I'm gonna get you . so I ran . running past riker and hiding behind him .

riker help shes after me . I laughed

oh really she's not scary! besides what did you do to her?  he laughed .

ross shor lynch I'm gonna get you!  she laughed .

I ran and it was on we all were playing now . she  tags me and I go down because she hit me so fast .

omg ross are you ok? I'm so sorry . I did.... I cut her off

ya I'm fine . I go to get up and I can't

oww!  I think I sprained my ankle .

I look up and kayla and amy were there .

omg ross Im so sorry . amy started to cry

amy its ok I'll be fine don't worry .

just then kayla starts looking at my ankle .

well its not broke but he should stay off of it for a few hours till the swelling goes down . then he's gonna have to take it easy for a few days . kayla said

wow kayla how do you know all this??

I took a nursing course a few years ago .so I could take care of my mom.

that's amazing kayla . I smiled .

everyone helped me up and sat me on the steps of the slide . we all sat a few and talked . kayla sat right next to me .

I finally put my arm around her and pulled her in . she didn't try to get away she snuggled in to me . I kissed her head. 

she looked up and smiled . I wasn't sure if I was imagining things but it was all happening . 

kayla? 

ya ross? 

I wanna take you out . as on a date . nothing fancy just a movie and dinner . is that ok?

umm. ...... ok .sure when? 

well I'm gonna have to figure it out . but soon I'll let you know .

oh ok . she smiled and I knew  I was gonna show her how much of a gentlemen I was .

I smiled and just held her while we talked and thought to myself . she's the one .
