Today is the first day of college for Tris. She hasn't spoken to Tobias since the welcoming party on Friday. She hasn't really seen him at all around campus since then.
Her alarm beeps, she reaches for the snooze button on her nightstand. "Turn it off!" Her best friend whines. Tris lifts her head up and presses the snooze button.
The clock reads 8:00 AM
Tris gets out from her bed and walks over to her drawer. She pulls out a shirt, and jeans. And lays them on her bed. She grabs her robe that is hanging in her closet and puts it on. While she takes off all her clothes out from underneath.
She throws her night clothes into her hamper. She grabs a towel and her bathroom organizer that consists of a comb, shampoo, conditioner, a wash cloth and body wash. She also grabs her zip lock bag of her toothbrush and toothpaste.
"I'm going to go to go shower and brush my teeth." Says Tris. "You should of got one last night like I did." Says Christina.
"Whatever." Says Tris. She walks into the girls bathroom. She looks for a shower stall that is open. She shuts the door and decides to lock it then takes off her robe and hangs it on the hook. She takes her towel and hangs it on the second hook.
She opens the shower curtain and brings her bathroom organizer to sit on the shelf in the shower. She turns on the shower and let's the hot water soak her body.
She runs her hands throughout her wet hair. She squirts her shampoo into her hands and rubs it throughout her hair; making it all soupy.
Tris stands there while she lets the shampoo wash out of her hair. She stands there thinking. When all of a sudden her flashbacks come up with her abusive boyfriend Peter comes into play.
Flashback:
"Tris cmon, let's just go to my friends party." Says Peter. Tris just sits there on the couch with her knees pulled up to her chest. "I don't know Peter."
"He's my best friend and he's the most popular kid in our highschool." Tris feels that she isn't comfortable going to this big party. "I don't wanna go Peter, I just don't feel comfortable."
A hand slaps across her face making her skin feel a stinging sensation. She touches the place where he hit her. Her eyes feel with tears. "That's what you deserve bitch for saying no to me."
Tris starts to shake and bangs her head against the shower wall. "Why did I deserve this?" A tear runs down her face.
After showering, Tris headed back to her dorm and decided to get changed. She walks with Christina around campus. They both decided to get some Starbucks and bagels from there as their breakfast.
Usually most campus's these days have Starbucks. "I'll see you later, good luck on your first day." Says Christina heading into her classroom.
"Okay bye." Says Tris. She walks down the hallway and finally finds the classroom. When she walks in she scans the room.

This looks like an auditorium. Tris thought to herself. She finds an empty seat at the highest row. She walks up the stairs and sits down at the table desk.
She sets down her binder. And then sets her bookbag on the floor. More students walk into the classroom.
Tris is trying to work in a human resources department and this is the first day she learns about her job. Fun
Tris opens her notebook and writes the date. "Hello stranger." She hears a voice. She turns around and sees Tobias sitting next to her. "Oh Hi, I didn't know you were in this class?"
"Oh you didn't? Well I'm trying to get somewhere in the human resources department once I get a job." Says Tobias.
"Wow really? Me too." Says Tris. She can't stop smiling at Tobias. Then Tris sees their professor walk into the room. He sets down his briefcase on the table.
"Good morning. I hope you all had a good summer and welcome back. I'm Mr. Walton; in case you didn't know me. I'll be your professor this year."
Tris opens her notebook to a clean page. She watches Tobias scramble for a pencil in his bookbag. She pulls out another pencil from her pencil bag and hands it to Tobias. "Need this?" She whispers.
"Thanks." Tobias smirks. Tris lets out a little giggle. "Well, get your paper out and notebook and we shall get started with our lesson." Mr. Walton says.
For about an hour Tris listens to Mr. Walton teach. She writes down important facts in her notebook. She also sees some students that take notes and well others who just sleep throughout the class.
"So for your homework tonight, I want you to find a partner and research some places that are known for human resources. You can go find your partner now." Says Mr. Walton. Everyone gets up from their seats and scrambles to find a partner. "Wanna be my partner?." Asks Tobias.
"Of course." Tris giggles. Once everyone is back in there seats. "Your assignment will be due two weeks from today. If you have any questions ask me. You are now dismissed."
Everyone gets up from their seats and walks out of the classroom. Tris grabs her stuff and puts it in her bookbag.
Later that night, her and Tobias decided to get some dinner together at the campus cafeteria. Tris decided to head back to Tobias dorm to work on their assignment together.
Since Tris doesn't have any classes tomorrow it would be no big deal if she stayed up late. Tris researches on her MacBook trying to find some answers.
"Did you find anything yet?" Tobias asks. Tris shakes her head. "Nope."
Tobias looks through the textbook he borrowed from the campus library. "Ugh this is so stressful." Tris groans.
"You don't say? It's not fun on the first day of class and already having your first assignment." Says Tobias. Tris takes eats a piece of popcorn. "Can I have some?"
"No. Tris smiles. Tobias pouts at her. She throws her popcorn bag at Tobias when all of the popcorn spills over him. "Your mean."
Tris bursts out laughing on the floor. Tobias gets up and decides to attack Tris by tickling her. "Oh my god. Stop!" She laughs. "Never." Says Tobias.
Tris decided to stay over Tobias's dorm that night since it was too late to head back to her own dorm. She thrashes around in her bed, while having a nightmare about Peter.
"No! Stop!" Tris shouts. Her forehead is dripping with sweat. "Peter stop!" Tris screams. Tobias is awoken from Tris's scream. He realizes she is having a nightmare.
He gets up from his bed and walks across the room to Tris's bed. He sits at the end of the bed and shakes Tris. She jolts when she sees Tobias. "Hey, your okay. It was just a nightmare." Tobias coos.
"Sorry if I woke you." Says Tris. Tobias rubs small circles in Tris's hand to clam her. "Hey it's okay, you were having a nightmare. Your even shaking from it."
"Yeah but I'll be okay." Says Tris. Tobias shakes his head and picks up Tris bridal style and lays her in his bed. "What are you doing?" She asks.
Tobias gets in next to her. "I just want you to sleep next to me so you don't have any nightmares. I don't like seeing you shaken up like that."
"Tobias you don't-" he cuts her off by putting a finger up to her lips. "Yes I do."
Tris smiles at him through the dark. Tobias eventually falls asleep and she does too. But before she does she feels his arm wrap around her torso; pulling her close. He's asleep, he doesn't even know what he's doing. Tris thought.
