It's been a week since I moved in here. Today, Takara said she had something planned. Well, I came to realize she wanted to test my skills. That's what Chikako insinuated anyway.
"Alright, follow me!" Takara commanded with an excited smile. She led us to an empty section of the yard..
"So why are we out here?" I inquired getting nervous for some reason.
"Well, as we all are our own family, we need to be able to protect our selves." Takara started before pointing at Chikako. "Chikako already has her own fighting style that she had before we met, but I don't know about you."
"I use the Hyuuga style." I informed her.
"Hm... I need to see your skills so fight Chikako." She told me.
I looked over at Chikako and gulped. She had this grin that give me shivers. It made me jump back a bit. I watched as she walked straight across from me.
"Don't worry I'll go easy on you." Chikako mocked. Or at least that's what it felt like.
"Do we have to fight?" I asked already knowing he answer. I got into position. My body ready to fight in the style it knew so well.
"Begin."
I never was one to attack first. Sometimes that would be a problem because we'd end up just staying still until someone conceded to attack first. This time though, Chikako struck.
I quickly put my arms in defense from the incoming punch. She hit hard, and I could tell it was going to leave a bruise. However, it was nothing I wasn't used to.
"Byakugan!" I shouted. As quick as I could physically go I launched myself back at her. I couldn't keep this up very long, so I would have to strike as many time as I could.
We both exchanged blows, but anybody could tell from a quick glance who was winning. It definitely wasn't me. Suddenly, a harder strike sent me backwards making me land on the ground.
"Ugh..." I groaned. "The ground certainly wants to get close today."
"Well, Chikako won that fight. I guess that was mostly a tai fight. Which happens to be Chikako's second best subject." Takara stated.
"Yup, chakra strings for Puppetry is my ace." Chikako laughed offering me hand.
"Well, that style of tai is all I know." I pursed my lips reluctantly accepting her hand.
"Well, it screams Hyuuga." Takara dug in her side pouch pulling out a piece of paper. Which she handed to me. "Flow you chakra through it."
"Okay..." I skeptically did as she asked. The paper became soggy before crumbling slightly.
"Oh! It looks like you chakra nature is Water, which is your main. then Earth, which is your secondary." Chikako shook my hands excitedly. "I've only got one and it's lightning, I'm not good at ninjutsu, so I don't really need it."
"What this means is I can teach you. My main is Earth, so I can teach you some jutsu. It will be a bit harder since your main is water, but hard work will prevail." Takara ranted putting her hand on my shoulder.
"Can you show me one?" I asked ecstatically.
"Hm... Normally we'd practice chakra control first, but.... I guess I'll show you a simple one." Takara smiled forming some signs slowly, so that I could see. "Earth Style: Stone Shuriken Skill."
