Chapter 2: Two Flowers and a confession

Himawari's pov.

I still can't believe Sensei lost. He even had to fake his death to escape. I'm happy he is alive I am, but I thought he was stronger then that.

Haku-nii finally got tired of my complaining and told me to go get some food from the village. Which I replied a bunch of nasty things, but I had to go anyway. Before I left I put on a hood so nobody would see my eyes. I also keep the locket and the gold ring on me.

The store there it is. There isn't much there or many people. All of them look poor if Gato hadn't hired us I would have beat the crap out of him.

"Carrots.... Where are they?" I mutter. Somebody over hears me though.

"There over here." A girl says. I look up and see the pinkette from the battle a few days ago. I vaguely remember her from when I lived in Konoha

"T-thank you." I say with a smile. "My name is Himawari." Did I just give my real name hopefully she doesn't recognise me.

"My name is Sakura Haruna. You don't look like your from here you don't look poor." She informed me.

"I'm not." I start making up a story. "I'm a ninja investigating Gato. Why are you here?" I ask innocently.

"You are!" Sakura exclaims excited. "I'm here to protect Tazuna from him. I hope you can help us." She suggests. "You should come train with us."

"Oh sure... I guess that could be fun." I say. "I have to finish shopping though..."

"So do I...." She says with her head down. Then perks back up. "Let's do it together!"

"Sure..." I consented with a closed eye smile.

After getting all the groceries, which took forever, we started looking at stalls. At this one I see and flower pendants.

"Your name means sunflower doesn't it?" Sakura asked me. It does so does my sister Hinatas.

"Yes. And yours means Sakura like the cherry blossoms." I say confused.

"Let's get the flower pendants for our names, you can have the cherry blossom and I can have the sunflower. It will be a symbol of our friendship." Sakura exclaims thrilled at the idea. I am to so I quickly agree.

I pick out the yellow sunflower with a diamond middle. Which it isn't as expensive as you would expect. Well since I gave him the diamond ring I had brought from my pack.

Sakura picked picked put a pink blossom pendant with a red ruby in the middle. The guy at the counter didn't demand any pay from her since I had already payed for both.

After putting them on we decided to go train together.

"Uhh... Can I drop these off real quick you just wait please." I said and left. I got to the shack dropped off the food and just ran back the spot. Luckily she was still there. "Sorry." I apologised.

"It's fine." She replied and started walking to Tazuna's place. "Can I see what's under your hood. If you have a scar I promise I won't tell anybody." Sakura requested.

Should I show her? Will she recognise me? It doesn't matter anyway I'm going to return soon, so if she does then that won't matter.

"Sure..." I reply with a small smile.

I slowly lift my hood off, but I keep my eyes closed. At first she sees my pale skin, long brown hair. Then I open my eyes showing her my Hyuuga eyes. I can hear her gasp. I'm proud to say though I don't have the Hyuuga curse mark.

"Y-your a Hyuuga." She shouts. When she does she stops walking. Luckily were in the middle of the forest so nobody can hear her.

"Yes, do you know me now?" I ask. The wind blows my hair out of my face. (Dramatic)

"Himawari! Where did you go? Your sister was so worried and your uncle! What about you cousin! Why did you leave Hima-Chan?" She started crying.

"B-because I-I was..... Scared." I reply looking toward the ground. "But, I was planning on returning soon, so I deciding to reveal my identity to you."

"Wait until I tell my everybody the-" she starts saying before I interrupt her.

"NO! I mean no you can't tell anybody yet when we go over to train introduce me as something else. Please. Please I need to do this on my own." I begged to her.

"But you will tell them soon right?" She questioned timid.

"Yes so please be happy." I try to persuade. She nods agreeing to keep my secret.
