Chapter 13: Pineapple Shika-kun isn't an idiot

Himawari's pov.

The window suddenly crashed open revealing a woman. Geeze, can't she use the door like a normal person. Giving all of us heart attacks must be her hobby, and that outfit...

"Heads up boys and girls, this is no time to be celebrating. I'll be your next proctor, Anko Matarashi. Ready for the second test? GOOD NOW FOLLOW ME!" Anko yelled freaking some of us out.

"Your early... Again." Ibiki stated informing me that she does in fact like scaring people.

"How many are there?" She asked looking around. "Ibiki, you let all these guys pass? Your test was too easy, you must be getting soft."

"Or it could be a stronger crop of candidates his year." Ibiki responded to the loud woman.
"Hmm. They sure don't look like it. Trust me when I'm done more than half will be eliminated. This is going to be fun." Anko smiled sadistically. "Alright you maggots have had it easy so far, but things are going to be different starting first thing this morning. I'll let your squad leaders know where to meet me. Dismissed."

I got up for my chair and turned towards Neji with an angry look on my face.

"I. Do not. Snore!" I shouted stomping on his foot. Neji grabbed his foot giving me a glare.

"You should thank me. If it wasn't for me you and your team would have been disqualified." Neji said with a certain tone in his voice.

"I could have handled it. I didn't need your help." I replied sticking my nose up indignantly.

He didn't answer instead just sighed and walked off towards his team who were waiting for him. My teammates were waiting by the door for me, but I saw Shikamaru walking in front of me with his two . I get a grin on my face as I sneak up on him.

"Shika-kun!" I Fangirl screamed jumping on his back making him almost fall forward in surprise. His two teammates Ino and Choji looked at me and laughed.

"How troublesome." Shikamaru complained.

"Am I that troublesome, Shika-kun." I whispered in his ear making his face tinge red.

"Are you coming Hisui?" Sakura yelled with a smile.

"Or do want time with your boyfriend?" Naruto laughed. Sakura and Naruto got in a little huddle forcing Sasuke into it as well. "Meet us at Ichiruka, okay? Your team is invited too." All of them scurried out the door.

"Shika-kun. Carry me, please." I commanded like he was a horse. "The door is over there, so you might as well carry me, or we can use the window!"

"This is such a drag." Shikamaru said heading towards the door.

We walked down the road towards Ichiruka getting looks and comments such as 'their so cute' and 'young love.' Ino was always giving me a suggestive look along with Choji.

"Hisui? Can you please get off?" Shikamaru asked politely.

"Am I heavy?" I faked cried receiving 'really' look from Ino and Choji.

"No, no. I'm just tired." He covered up.

"Oh. Okay." I immediately perked up jumping off hi back. "But you still have to go with us to Ichiruka, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah." He responded as Ino walked to my other side.

"You two would be such a cute couple." Ino joked urging Shikamaru and I to sit down. "Don't you think so Choji?"

"Yeah nom nom." Choji agreed chomping some chips.

"Sadly, Choji and I can't stay, so I hope you two have fun." Ino laughed grabbing Choji and running off.
