All I could think about was N. How could someone like him be the king of Team Plasma?
"You really can't trust others out here..." I mumbled.
Almost every person that I've just so happened to meet seems to have some double identity that they don't want me knowing about. Hugh.. N. Wonder how many other two face people I'll meet next. So exciting..
I found myself at the entrance of a cave at the end of route 6. It had such a blue glow from its entrance. Peeking my head down, a strong gust of static wind blew against me. I stumbled back as I felt that static rush through me.
"Great.." I growled. "Unova just wants me to suffer huh?"
'Chargeston Cave.' I've heard of this cave before and it's electric charged stones. It's a hassle, but it's the only way to get to mistralton city.
"Let's just get this over with... Arcanine." I walk with him into this trek I was not looking forward to.
---
"I hate this..." I mumbled to myself. The static of this whole cave made my hair, not to mention Arcanine's, frizz up which I found funny on him but not me. Not to mention everything I touched kept shocking me from this friction. Oh and did I mention I was lost?
Every tunnel I went through kept taking me back to what I think is the middle of the cave. Arcues knows how long I've been in here already. I ran my hand through my staticky hair and closed my eyes for a minute.
"You wouldn't suppose to know a way out of here bud?" I looked over at my puffed out fire type. Whining, he set his nose to the floor and began sniffing out the floor. I shook my head and went back to my brainstorming of a way to get out of this static ridden cave.
As always though, my thoughts get interrupted. Catching my attention was a barking Arcanine running down a tunnel.
"Hey!" I shouted chasing after him. Everything went from lit to dark as I ran down the tunnel. Walking around in pitch black, I felt my way through the darkness looking for Arcanine. After bumping into more rocks, I finally felt my hand touch something staticky and hairy.
I breathed a sigh of relief,"You can at least warn me next time bud."
No response.
After standing there a few moments, I heard Arcanine's barking. But it wasn't in front of me... It was echoing down the tunnel. My stomach dropped. If his barking was coming from down there, then who's hair was I holding onto here..
"Arcanine.." My shaky voice called out.
A bright light lit up in front of me blinding me. I closed my eyes as I felt myself being pushed to the ground. Opening the, I look up to see a hissing Galvantula hovering over me. All around me were electric spiders. My heartbeat rung through my ears and fear froze me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Arcanine barking trying to get to me. He looked just as scared as I was, as more surrounded me and made its way to him.
"RUN!" I screamed.
---
Barking it's way through the breezy Mistralton city, a distressed Arcanine whined as it went in circles looking every which way.
Looking for a familiar scent, the fire type pointed his nose to the floor and continued his search. Walking on and on, keeping his focus only on this scent, Arcanine made his way to the edge of the city. It looked up scanning the grassy field. Another peaceful breeze brushed against him, and with that breeze a whiff of the object he was looking for. In a flash, Arcanine took off into the grassy hills of route 7.
He was close. He knew it. The smell was stronger over here. No over there. Or maybe right here. The giant dog whined as it covered his head with his. paws.
"Arcanine? Is that you?"
Arcanine knew this voice. It was so familiar. Standing up, it looked every which way, until he found the owner of this voice. And subsequently what he was searching for too.
The fire type ran up to this stranger and started barking as light as he could. The stranger looked on at this hysterical dog confused. After the last bark, Arcanine took off running back to mistralton city.
"Arcanine!" The stranger called out as he followed him out of the tall grass. Soon this ever so familiar stranger caught up with Arcanine to the entrance of a cave emitting such static charge.
Arcanine looked at the cave entance and back at this stanger. He whined as he lowered his head and tail.
The strangers eyes widened with worry as it finally understood the dogs message.
"Uri.." He whispered.
