Jessica has a good friend. A male good friend. His name is Xavier Lewis.
As far as Jessica remembered, she'd always get into troubles whenever she associated with this guy.
Even their first encounter started from a trouble.

It was their first day for their first year in high school.
And it was on the opening ceremony day.
That day, Xavier got into a fight with some other students from a different high school. The reason?
The reason was because he flirted with a girl the day before. The girl turned out to be a girlfriend of a leader of gangsters group. So, the boyfriend brought his gangs to beat him up.
That time, Jessica was on the way to the school and just passing by the scene.
Unfortunately, she got caught up in the situation because she was wearing the same school uniform as Xavier.
So, people thought she was a part of the fight. Despite her plead for her innocence, along with Xavier, she got suspended from the school for one week.

The next time Jessica associated with Xavier, he was in the middle of breaking up with his girlfriend in a café that she was working part time at as a waitress.
She did not know what they were fighting about. She just made a mistake of going to their table to take their order when Xavier suddenly grabbed her wrist and said to the girlfriend, they were breaking up because he was in a relationship with her, Jessica Williams.
And, the next thing she knew, her left cheek was red from the slap of the girlfriend. Being a girl that refused to be humiliated, she slapped the girlfriend back and they got in a fight. Of course, she won.

Then, Xavier lifted up her right hand like she'd just won a wrestling competition and announced that he recognized her as his best friend for her courage. He was just doing everything as he pleases, without her consent. That's the story on how they became best friend. Although it was only on his part and she never ever acknowledged it. Later, she got fired from her part-time job. All of that was because of an idiot, psychotic guy named Xavier.
