Everyone knows the primary colors, right? Blue, red and yellow. I don't know if I'm paranoid or what, but I happen to find these colors alot in AA.
First, Phoenix, Miles and Larry. If you're watching the anime, you must recall the lastest episode were the three of them have a Signal Samurai keychain, right?
Phoenix's it's blue, Miles's red and Larry's yellow.
Next, we have Phoenix (again), Apollo and Athena, each one wears a different primary color.

Then, they're the Gramaryes. Thalassa wears blue, Zak red and Valant yellow.

Also, remeber the uniforms from Themis Academy? The ones from the judge curse use yellow (with black) , the ones from the attorney one blue, and the one from the prosecutor curse, red.

I noticed that in the Professor Layton series, they use this rule too. What do you say?

Something I also noticed is that the people who wear said colors share some kind of bond. Mostly friendship. Of course, the color black is present as well, but not so currently.
Usually the one who wears black, is the leader. Mia used to wear black, so she used to be the leader of the agency. Magnifi used black, so he is the leader of the troupe. Juniper used black, and somehow she is the leader of that friendship. Professor Layton used black, so he is the leader of the group.
Edgeworth uses something black, but he isn't the leader, but the brains of the friendship. We must pay more attention to the details, because everything is there for a reason.
