Jon and Dodie had just finished their performance of "An awkward duet" in Pennsylvania on tour with Tessa and Rusty. Jon had found himself crushing on her a little but he didn't want to make things messy this early in a friendship. They were already close. He felt so lucky to have such a good relationship so soon. The two even flirted a little on Twitter without it being awkward. He would find himself smiling and biting his lip a little when watching Dodie sing. He would then realize that everyone was watching and would quickly snap back to reality and sing his verse. To keep himself from staring at her he would often try to be more of a comedian in the performances to distract the audience and himself. Jon would often find Dodie smiling at him, hiding her face, and being a little shy. She never hesitated to get close to him but he had no idea what her feelings were. What if she just loved Jon as a close friend? Every time Dodie saw Jon, her crush on him got bigger. Not only was his American accent adorable, he always made her smile. She felt so weak when they sang together. One time she saw him biting his lip and having a look of admiration in his eyes when she was singing. She didn't know if it was part of the act or not but she couldn't help but be happy. She didn't think he liked her at all. What if it was just a Youtube collaboration to him? The gang was all cozied up in the messy little tour van. Jon loved Tessa and Rusty, but they were a couple. He felt closer to Dodie. The friends were doing what usual modern day friends do; laughing while staring at their phones showing each other the new pictures trending on Instagram or Twitter. They made it to the hotel they were staying at. To save a little money, they decided to stay in two hotel rooms with two people in each, rather than all four friends in one room. Since Tessa and Rusty were dating, they obviously stayed in one room, leaving Jon and Dodie in the other. No one found this awkward, they were such good friends.
