Bunk - Part 9

The next morning, the four friends headed to the next show. Jon had his purple pen hanging on the pocket of his soft, black sweatshirt that was, obviously, a bit big for him. They finished the show and headed to a small cafe for dinner. When they finished, they had to ride in the small van for three hours. They were going to stay in an old, but cute, apartment building. A couple hours in, everyone had fallen asleep. Well, almost everyone. Jon was still awake and he was on his laptop. Dodie's head was leaning on his shoulder as they shared a soft, throw blanket. Jon's heart felt like it was sinking as he relaxed his shoulders. He had butterflies in his stomach. He rested his head on her head. It just felt so right to him. He put his computer up and closed his eyes to get some rest as he pulled the blanket up on Dodie and him. About thirty minutes from the  apartment in New York, Tessa woke up. She saw Jon and Dodie. Dodie had unconsciously curled herself into Jon's embrace. They truly looked adorable. Tessa nudged Rusty. "Rusty, look." She giggled, pointing to the two. "Mhmm...mhh. What?" He said rubbing...his eyes. "Jon and Dodie!" She whispered. "They look so cute." She pointed out. "What? Do they...like...have a thing?!" He said, almost laughing. She shrugged and they went back to sleep. The nice man driving woke everyone up when they made it to their place. It was now thirty minutes past ten. They were staying in a two-bedroom  apartment. One room had a bed and the other had a bunk-bed. Dodie stretched. She realized she was literally curled up with Jon and quickly moved away to grab her bags. They all walked to the apartment. They put their bags down and started getting ready for bed since they had such a long day. "I call the top bunk!" Dodie shouted as she ran to the room. "Damn it! I wanted the top bunk!" Jon said, laughing at his own childish behavior as he flopped on the bottom bed. Jon and Dodie talked for a bit.
