Chapter 30: .... Baby It's Prom Night II 

*Siyara's P.O.V*            ( Friday, October 3, 2017 )

Those were the lyrics we heard as we entered the hall. After waiting an entire four years, my prom night is finally here. I have my soon to be husband around my arm and my friends who I call family by my side. As I looked around at all the beautiful decorations I hoped that everything tonight will happen exactly how I imagined it would. 

"You look outstanding tonight," Roc whispered in my ear. I blushed starting to cheese extremely big. "Thank you, but outstanding? Are you sure you're okay?" "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

He pulls out my chair and I take a seat. "It's just usually you would say that I look amazing or beautiful." He chuckles, taking my hand in his and kisses it. 

"That's what boys say. Starting today, baby, I'm not a boy anymore. I'm a man and you're my lady. I'm gonna love and treat you like a man should." My heartbeat increased when those words escaped his lips. I guess I'm still very nervous about how tonight is going to turn out.

Since we arrived at the hall nearly forty-five minutes, the crew and I remained at our table enjoying the music. Tonight was a special night. We didn't want to be all wild and crazy like we usually would be. We decided to be more relaxed and sophisticated. 

If we changed our minds, we would get just a crazy, nothing too serious. 

In that time we watched everyone else dance, cooling to the music. "Ladies, there's something me and the boys want to talk to you about." Prod said over the music. 

By the looks on our faces they saw that we got a bit scared. "No, no," Prince assured us. "Don't be scared. It's nothing too serious but we've talking about this for a while now. We finally made up our minds." "Well what is it," Des asked. 

All of them except Fizz looked around at each other. "We decided that after graduation we were going give up our career as a group and lay low again. Start our lives with you girls for real," Ray announced. 

We were completely shocked! This was so unexpected! "Are you guys serious," Lex asked. They nodded together. We turned stupid for a minute. 

We knew that things were going to be different after this but never how they're telling us it is. I looked at Roc, sincerity written on his face. "We can't let you guys do that! This group is apart of you. Don't give it up because us!" "We're sorry. We made up our minds already," Prod said.

As much as we didn't like their decision, we couldn't fight with them about it either. We're all grown now and doing what's best for us. If that's what they want then so be it. 

"Alright, alright. We'll be cool with it as long as you guys still make time for your fans so we don't end up having to throw any shades at anybody," Dessy made clear getting a little ratchet. "Okaaay," Prince said snapping his fingers in a 'z' formation. 

We were officially done after that. We done already broke our sophisticated deal. Haha. "Hey Fizz, you having fun," Niyah asked. He nodded. "Everything alright man? Why you so quiet," Prod asked him. He seemed uneasy to me since Prod said the boys had to tell us something. 

He looked at Roc and he nodded at him. "What's going on with you right now," Alana questioned just as confused as we were. He took Alana's hand and looked at her.
