Chapter 21: The Family Life!!!♥

*Roc's P.O.V*             ( September 8, 2014 )

This morning we wake up early. It was a nice day outside, the sun was shining and you could feel the cool September breeze. We decided to go out and get breakfast, then taking a walk to the park.

We walked and sat at a bench table to eat, listening to the trees swaying and birds chirp. My two girls in front of me. Some people would've mistaken them for sisters because they were wearing the same thing.

Even after just waking up Siyara's beauty never fades. She looked cute in her big white tee, baggy sweatpants, and her hair in a messy bun. What could I ever do without them? She spots me looking as Yaniese eats staring around.

"*smile* What?" "Just thinking." "Haha, about what?" "I don't know what I'd be without you two in my life." She giggled gazing up at the trees. "It's beautiful today." "Not as much as you." She had that look in her eyes that she always did whenever I'd say some cheap middle school flirt line and blushed.

"You're so into yourself. Yaniese's birthday is next week; what're we gonna do?"  "I don't know. Yaniese baby girl what do you wanna do for your birthday?" "Party! Party!" She rocks in her seat, dancing to the music in her head.

Me and Siyara laugh at how cute she is. "Haha, Roc I know she wants her party but after these few weeks, don't you think we should cool down on the celebrations?"

"Just focus us as a family; we really need the relax time." I thought about it for a few seconds and I can't blame her for feeling that way. Whatever my girls want.

"Of course. We'll focus on us.... becoming a family again." I smiled happily as I hold and rub Siyara's hand with my thumb. We finished breakfast and headed home.

*At Home Later On...*

Yaniese and I played house all day. She made me have a tea party with her and her teddy bears. We'd colored in her coloring books, played video games, doctor, AND school. This little girl worked me to the bone.

Meanwhile, Siyara had been running around doing arrands for her Mom. When she came home, she was swomped. She threw herself down on the couch, kicking off her heels. "Oh my goodness, my feet are hurting and I'm so tired. My Mom's so lucky I love her."

Yaniese hops on the couch sitting next to her and I lay my head down on Siyara's lap. She rubs my face while playing in my hair. Something about her touch made me feel like a kid again. I got hold of her finger pressing it together between my lips.

"*laugh* You're so silly." She kissed my forehead. She gets up grabbing her things. "What did you guys do today? It's a mess in here." "Me and Daddy played!!!" For a second she sounded like a cheerleader.

Siyara burst out laughing. "I bet you did." She heads upstairs. "Aren't you going to help clean up and make dinner?" "Baby I'm sorry. Maybe next time. I'm really tired." "Okay baby. Let's go clean up and make dinner bubbles."

Yaniese ran past me into the kitchen.

*NightNight.*

After everything was done we walked upstairs and into Siyara's room with her dinner. She was laided in bed on her stomach doing homework while using her laptop. "Why hello Ms. Busy Bee." I placed a kiss on her cheek and set down her food.

"We made you dinner." "And I make your juice Mommy. Taste it!" She shoves the glass in Siyara's face. She takes a sip and pulls the glass away surprised. "Did she really make this?" I shook my head. "All I did was give her what she needed and let her be."

"Haha. I watched her do everything and helped her mix." "Que lindo baby thank you. Mommy loves you." Yaniese laughs climbing on my lap. The spicy aroma of the food filled the room. Ceaser salad with white rice and grilled chicken. Thank god for my mother. =)

Her eyes closed as she took in the spicy tender flavor of the chicken. "You missed my cooking didn't you?" She chuckled. I looked on the laptop screen. "What are you doing?" "I was looking at colleges for us to apply for."

"School ends in about 4 weeks. Most of what I seen the semesters don't start until next spring. Right now I'm guessing UCLA is our best option. What do you think?" "I think it's great baby but..."

"But what?" "What about Yaniese? And my career with the boys?" Siyara bit her lip in frustration as if saying she completely forgot about all this. "I forgot. Damn, I don't know. Maybe we can talk to our parents about keeping her?"

I slide Niese off my lap. "Baby girl go in your room and get ready for bed Daddy will be there soon to give you a bath okay?" "Okay Daddy. I love you!" I kissed her and she went to Sisi saying goodnight also giving her a kiss.

When she left the room I turned to Siyara. "We're not talking to our parents to keep her." "Roc why not?" "Siyara don't realize!? We're growing up. Baby, we can't keep depending on our parents to do so much."

"They have a life their own and stuff they have to deal with. Besides they already did their part in caring for us. Why can't we do it for ourselves?" "*sigh* You're right. I never thought of it like that."

"You should have. We'll figure something out, don't worry. What are we going to do about my career with the boys?" "Roc I'm sure it can wait. You guys have these next few months until the start of the semester."

"Walter and Keisha can fit so much for you guys to do in that time and you would still get the chance to be off work for school. Plus, you promised me that we'd be sure to go to college together by any means neccesary."

I sighed heavily now remembering that I did make Siyara that promise. I don't say anything. Siyara sets her plate on the side table, and moves everything else off the bed. She sits on my lap facing me.

"Roc please don't do this again? This would be the second time that you left or even considered making the coice of leaving me and Yaniese over your career. You remember what happened the last time?"

Now she's starting to make me feel worse about this than I should. I hate when she relates things back to the past. "Yeah. I do." "What happened?" "I nearly missed Yaniese being born."

She lifted my head. "Please," she said in a silent whisper. "Okay baby. I promise you I won't leave. And I put that on you and Yaniese with my word." Siyara gave me a smile of uncertainty. I pushed her back on the bed and we played the kissing game.

Damn, we haven't did that in a while. ;) Five minutes later we sit up still kissing and Siyara was starting to take off my shirt. I opened my eyes and caught a glimpse at the door. Oh crap! :S "Uh, baby," I say between the kiss.

"Hmm?" She asks mumbling. "The door," She turned around and saw Yaniese standing at the door holding her towel around her tiny little body. "Hi baby girl? What'cha doing?" "Waiting to take a bath. My tummy hurts and I'm itchy."

The way she talked was so adorable. Her small voice and her pronunciation of words...... priceless! ;p Me and Siyara get up and follow her to her room. When walking in the hall to her room Yaniese asked a question.

"Daddy what were you and Mommy doing?" Siyara and I looked at each other and smiled. Then we said at the same time, "Playing jump rope and eating red hot." Then burst out laughing.

Haha, the stupid things we do together.......... ^_____^ :D
