Reading Can Hurt chapter 4

I was breathing heavily running, running, running for my life! There was no where to go if I turned left there was a dead end. If I turned right another dead end from where I could see.

"Caaddeeennn," I heard a voice behind me saying in a low creepy voice. "Caaaddeeennn! I'm coming to get you!"

I did not want to turn back I was afraid that I might trip and fall. I was hopping I did not take a wrong turn and die! Was this real? Was this really happing? I need help I tried to open my mouth but nothing came out only me deep breathing.

"Don't be stupid Caden! Don't be the one to die a young life!" The creepy man said in whisper "I'm right behind you."

I could finally scream, I screamed at the top of my longs "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!"

Right then I felt a cold, wet hand touching me my shoulder he turned me around so quickly I fell to the ground. When I finally came to, I looked up see myself in a mirror! He was me! I could not believe my eyes I had-

I then woke up with cold wet sweat dripping down my face with a stun look on my face. All my blankets where off my bed nothing was on me I was freezing cold. I sat up looked around rubbing my face from exhaustion. I got up and made myself breakfast, I sat down with the house dead silence I was a little afraid I would have that dream again. I got up to shut the blinds and I jumped when I saw my reflection.

"Ugh!" I thought to my self "I hate having nightmares!" I got ready to go to school, right when I was leaving for the bus stop I remembered I got a new book yesterday so I quickly put that into my bag and headed off to the bus stop.

"HEYYYYYY! Whats up buddy?" Ashton said in a gangster sounding voice.

"Nothing much just got a new book, want to see it?" I asked reaching for my bag

"Sure" he said

"Great, I got it from that creepy old guy at the book store." I said handing it to Ashton

"Oh yeah about that ummm THANKS FOR DITCHING ME!" He said in a sarcastic tone.

"Sorry Ashely dragged me away from you, and besides after I was done I went to find you and I could not find you where were you?" I asked

"Oh I left after a little while it was to cold to stay out in below zero its not healthy." He said looking through the book

"Alright thats a good excuse," I said, I continued "Sooo what do you think of the book?"

"Well the title is weird 'Don't trust anyone' that seems like a horror book type thing." He said handing it back to me

"Yep I think it is that's mainly why I got, also Charlies-" Ashton interrupted me

"Who's Charlies?" H asked me

"Oh the creep old dude in the shop." I said

"Ok well continue." He said

"Ok , Charlies did not want me to get that book so that made me want it more!" I said sounding excited to read it

"Sweet, well then read it.' He said, then after a few minutes of awkward silence the bus came around the corner and I was glade I could get into the warmth of the bus and out of the freezing cold.

I waited on the bus after stop after stop after stop........ It was endless, but the bad news came we are at school.. UGH! I went to my locker got my folders and books to go to my first hour class, Math. i was an honor student very smart but yet get board very easily in school. So I pulled my book out of my bag ans started reading.
