"Are you decant?" A nurse asked while knocking on the door

I cleared my throat "Yes!"

He opened the door heading towards my bed. He sat in the chair next to me pulling out a click board that was out of nowhere.

"I have great news!" He said with a grin

"Which is......?" I asked trying to keep the conversation going.

He shook his head and smiled at me "Well, I guess you don’t seem to interested in it."

"Wait! No!" I said waving my hands

"You are free to go in the afternoon," he said sitting back down "all I need is for your parent or guardian to sigh these papers."

"Ummmm..... That won’t be necessary actually." I said looking away from the nurse now

"How come? Are you homeless or something?......" He asked with a curious look

"My mom is never with me," I responded "She is always gone so...."

He raised an eyebrow "Well...... This is complicated then it would have been."

"Sorry."

"No need to apologize I will just let you go and say your parents sighed it." He said standing back up

"Gee! Thanks so much!" I said with a smile

"No problem whenever you’re ready to leave just go right ahead." He said shutting the door behind

I mumbled "thanks" but I doubt he heard anything. I took out my phone to text Ashley to come here quick! Somehow it was quicker than I expected.

Soon enough the door flew open a minute later after I put my phone away "What’s up?"

"Wow did you get my text?" I asked

She looked confused, so she took out her phone "I just got it."

"Ok good." I said with a sigh of relief

"Why?" She asked sitting down in the chair

"I sent you a text a minute before you entered my room and I thought you just really wanted to see me or you were already on your way." I said holding out my phone

"The 2nd one," she responded "I was already on my way."

“Anyway I need to ask you a question.” I said quickly

“Let me guess, you want to know how I got the book?” She said smiling with a chuckle

I looked surprised when she knew what I was going to saw but it was sort of obvious “H-how did you know?”

“Trust me, that’s only the reason why I came here.” She said laughing

“Ok good I thought you could like read my mind or something.” I said leaning back in the bed

“Maybe I can……” She said looking around like she’s guilty

“Whatever, so tell me!” I said waving my hands all over the place

“Alright, alright, but it’s kind of a long story.” She said leaning back to rest her back on the chair

I rolled my eyes “We got time.”

She started “So when you were lifted up from the machine and screaming like a little girl-“

I cut her off “HEY! You would of screamed like a girl to if you started to fly up in mid air without knowing.”
