Me Ashley and Ashton both walked to my house in a sort of awkward silence. I turned on my iPod so the music will break the silence.
"I don’t like that song." Ashton said looking down at me
I got mad at him but realized he hates the band “one republic” its like the best band ever! “Right I forgot.” I switched to another song
“Go to a song by Bruno Mars!” Ashley said with a smile
I looked through to find I only had 1 song by him “Do you like the lazy song?”
She paused “Of course! I love all of his songs!”
I pressed play. Honestly I knew that Ashton hates music! I don’t know why he does, but no one is the same.
“Do you have the key?”
“The what?” I said turning to Ashton
He rolled his eyes with a grin “You know the thing that you open the door with.”
“I know what it is I just did not hear you.” I said digging through my pocket, my heart jumped when I did not feel my key but then a hard metal thing touched my hands and I let a sigh of relief.
Ashley turned to me “What happened?”
I had to think about why she asked me that question. I realized that my sigh of a relief is a loud one “Oh yeah I’m fine, thanks.”
“No problem.”
I dug out the key and twisted it in the door knob. It made a clicking sound and I opened it to the cold air.
“Brrrrr!” Ashley and Ashton both said with their arms around there body’s.
“Sorry about the cold air.” I said, walking up the satires
They both followed me “C’mon Caden! Please turn on the heat!” Ashton said cupping his hands together.
“Alright, alright,” I said running up to the turn the heat on high “While we wait here are some blankets.”
“Thanks!” Ashley and Ashton both said at the same time
I ran back to my room to grab more blankets. I also grabbed an electric blanket from my moms bed room. We all sat on the same couch.
Ashton looked at me “Could I have to hot chocolate please?”
He just had to say that right when I got comfortable. “Ok, Ashley do you want some to?”
“Ummmmm,” she hesitated “Sure.”
“K be back in a few.” I said getting up from the couch and went in the direction of the kitchen
I grabbed 3 cups, and filled them up with water. Put them in the microwave each for 30 seconds or a little more. Then got the hot chocolate mix to pour in, I stirred them together and after about 4 to 5 minutes I returned to the living room.
I had to be careful not to spill them or my mom will get frustrated with me. “Here you go.”
Once I handed them to them they both responded with a simple “thanks”
I finally got back into the comfortable position. There was an awkward silence between the 3 off us.
“So Ashton,” Ashley said breaking the silence “How’s school going?”
Ashton looked confused and then a flash of realization came to his face “Oh good I guess.”
“That’s right I forgot you are tutoring him.” I said chuckling
