TOSHIRO P.O.V.

"Rangiku, call in third seat member Aki Emiko."

"Yes captain Hitsugaya."

I sat and did my paper work when Aki walked in after announcing herself.

"You sent for me captain?"

"Yes. I've felt your spirit energy. It has reached the level of a captains. I do believe you have reached bankai, have you not?"

"Yes sir, I have."

"Good. Because I requested you be tested to be a captain to take over the missing captains seat in squad nine."

"But captain, I like my seat here in squad ten. And isn't squad nine's lieutenant Shuhei Hisagi? Shuhei doesn't really like me."

"Enough complaining. You will take the test and I know you'll pass."

AKI P.O.V.

I walk to head captain Yamamoto's barracks to take the test. The captains there to test me were the head captain, captain Unohana, my captain, and captain Soi Fon.

They asked me simple questions like what is a gigai, or what is bakudo. This was all easy stuff from the academy. Now was the time I show my zanpaku-to. It shikai and bankai. Its shikai is 'Moneru Yona Raion no Ikari'. The release command is 'Devour' . Its bankai is 'Akuma no Yona Raion no hi' with the release command 'Devour all existing spirits into nothingness'.

In its Shikai form my sword is a pair of fangs attached to a piece of rope that is attached to the handle and can absorb blood, converting it into fire which multiplies by burning more blood. 

In its Bankai form it dematerializes and surrounds me with a flaming aura which sets surrounding spirits on fire.

I was lost in my thoughts when the head captain spoke, "You are now the captain of squad nine."

He handed me my new captain's Haiodi.

I walked to my new barracks wearing my captain's Haiodi. Shuhei appeared behind me, "welcome Captain."

"Lieutenant Hisagi." I said turning around.

He was shocked as I turn around to greet my new lieutenant.

"Aki? You're my new captain?"

"Yes."

"Sorry for calling you Aki, captain Emiko."

"Its alright. I'm still used to you being my superior. I never thought that I'd be a captain."

"Since you're captain now, who are you going to replace me with?"

"Oh, I'm not replacing you. I was going to keep you as my lieutenant. If you're not okay with that then I can replace you..."

"I'll be happy to stay your lieutenant."

After that he showed me where my captain's quarters were and I got to meet the squad.

I had gone to my office to do paper work when captains meeting was called.

"Please welcome the new captain to squad nine, Aki Emiko." said head captain Yamamoto as I walked in for the captains meeting.

"To think a third seat reaching bankai and becoming a captain, and being such a young age, that's quite an achievement." Said Jushiro Ukitake, captain of squad thirteen.

"Thank you Captain Ukitake." I said back as he smiles back.

"What's the big deal? She's just another brat just like her previous captain." said Kenpachi Zaraki, 'Kenny' as his lieutenant calls him, he is the captain of squad eleven. And the only captain that can not use any form of Kido.
