Bleach: Toshiro Loves Me (Completed)

Things Have Changed

"That's it." He said calmly.

"I just contacted the soul society and they said that it was a false accusation and that those who have been sent here can either return and work or take a week break. They can also stay in the world of the living."

"I am staying in the world of the living." Said Toshiro.

"Me as well." I said.

"I will head back to the soul society to take care of any work that is needed." Said Shuhei.

"We will set up a Senkaimon to send you back. If anything is needed we shall contact you." Kisuke said.

Toshiro and I are heading back to Orihime's house go to sleep.

I couldn't sleep last night and so I took a walk around Karakura town for a little bit. When I got back to Orihime's place, Toshiro and Orihime were still asleep.

It was about seven in the morning right now. They should be waking up any minute now. So I started to make breakfast.

I will make some pancakes and eggs and bacon. After a while and when I was almost done with breakfast, Orihime came into the kitchen.

"Breakfast smells good Aki."

"Thank you Orihime. Is Toshiro awake?"

"Yeah. He is."

"Okay, well its time to eat so dig in."

Orihime smiled and made a plate to eat. Toshiro walks in and just eats a little. I eat just a little as well because I'm not very hungry.

Toshiro and I just walk around Karakura town for a little bit and then we head to Karin's soccer game to fill in for her team.

After the game ended everyone on the team came to me and Toshiro saying that we played good and that they would like to be able to play like that.

Karin came up to us, "Thanks so much for everything you guys. You played very well."

"You're welcome." I said.

"Well see you later." Toshiro said grabbing my hand and walking away.

TOSHIRO P.O.V.

I enjoy the time Aki and I have been spending together. After the soccer game we walked for a little bit until I saw Granny. She noticed me and smiled.

"Hi Granny." I said.

"Toshiro. How are you?" Then she looked at Aki, "Who is this?"

"I'm Aki."

"Are you a soul reaper also?"

"So you know about soul reapers than? You do have a strong spiritual pressure."

"Why don't you both come over and have some candied beans?"

"Sounds good." Aki said smiling.

"Alright." I said nonchalantly. At grandma's house Aki and I looked at the sky and ate our candied beans. I stayed quiet as Aki talked about how pretty the way the sky looked.

I don't remember Aki ever being so happy. She has always been so sad, even when we were kids. She really has changed.

---Flash back---

"Would you stop being such a cry baby? You don't look very good when you're doing that." I say.

"Y-you don't h-have to be so, so mean to me Toshiro."

"Why are you crying anyway?"

"You called me a bed wetter and spit watermelon seeds at me. You are so mean."

"I don't remember calling you that."

"Shiro. Stop being so mean to Aki." Said Momo.

I rolled my eyes. She cries about everything. She doesn't know how to stop.

She grew up with me. She had no family besides me and Momo. I never really understood why she was like that.

Then when she became a soul reaper. When she joined my squad, I never saw her cry. She wouldn't smile though. She did her work, she fought alongside me even though I was never really there. She has changed.

What has caused her change? Could it be me who has changed her?

---Flash back over---

"Toshiro. Are you okay?"

"Yes."

"What were you thinking about?"

"Nothing."

AKI P.O.V.

I never know what'll happen to me. I can't predict the future. I can't help but think that the sky will fall some day. That what we know will come to an end. But who knows? Nothing can ever be predicted and be exact.

That's just not how it works. Things will never go how you want them to go. I have learned that from everything I've been through. I used to think that if you tried and practiced hard enough, that things can change the way you want. But that's not going to happen that way.

Things always change. Feelings will be hurt. Things will go wrong. The only thing that you have control over is yourself. And you still don't have full control of everything in yourself. Truth is you'll always lie to yourself, to others, even if you try to tell the truth. Things will never go as planned.

"Aki?"

"Yes?"

"What's changed? Everything just seems so different now. Even how the sky shines seems different. "

"Everything has changed. Even the people around us. Even how the world around us looks. It's all different now." I say while glancing at the sky.

Toshiro nods and we sit there in silence.

After a while we went back to Orihime's place. She smiled and asked how our day went.
