Chapter 8

Luhan’s POV

I was looking for Yanni because I want to thank her for the food for some reason.

I asked the gloomy Lay, he said Chanyeol stole her from him and they went into the rooftop.

I quickly ran upstairs and when I peeked at the door if they were still there, to my surprise, I saw Chanyeol kissing Yanni!

WHAT-THEEE!

In my opinion, I think Chanyeol kissed her in surprise because Yanni was just standing still...frozen.

Now I know the strategy of that giant. In order to claim the throne, he must win the girl’s heart first, the judge. The nerve of that guy. I must win the throne. I must make my father proud. Therefore I must follow his strategy, but in a better way. Let’s see who can win her heart first.

Huh. I'll make sure to steal her heart and make her fall in love, head over heels with me...

I quickly went down to plan for my strategy, as I went down, I remembered somehow that I felt something aching in my heart when I saw them kissing...

Was I- was I je- jealous??

No. No Luhan. You’re not jealous. You don’t even like that girl. Jealousy is not on your game plan right now. Focus. Focus on winning the throne.

I reminded myself.

I just ignored that sudden aching and focused myself on my plan.

You can do this Luhan...steal her  fragile heart.

Your POV

“Am I really your first kiss??” Chanyeol asked again, finding it funny.

*OMO. I can’t believe he’s my first kiss!! Why him??? Aish!* you went crazy in your mind.

“Aish! I hate you!” You shouted at Chanyeol who was laughing his heart out.

You stomped going downstairs, finding the boys still watching a movie. You sat between Luhan and Kai. Wanting to clear your head, you decided to watch with them.

“What are we watching?” You whispered to Kai.

“It’s a horror movie. Kinda boring though,” Kai whispered back, his eyes looked sleepy.

“Oh...” was all you could say.

You couldn’t focus on watching the movie when Chanyeol came and sat next to Kai. Somehow you felt uneasy, like someone’s watching you. You turned your head to look at him and he was already staring at you, but he quickly shifted his gaze to the TV screen.

And that made your heart skip a beat.

The boring movie ended. It was midnight. All of the boys were asleep on the living room, well ALMOST. Only You and Luhan were awake. Everyone else was on their own dream paradise.

“Let me walk you to your room,” Luhan unexpectedly offered.

“Oh. Okay.” You were stunned by his sudden actions. 

The both of you arrived to your door, you turned around to say thanks to Luhan but as you did, Luhan suddenly hugged you.

His hug felt warm, comfy and his scent was so addictive that it was melting your heart.
You just want to stay on his hug forever, but reality was cruel. He then held your shoulders and stared at your eyes and straight to your soul ,

 “Be wise Yanni. Good night,” Luhan softly whispered.

“I will Oppa. Good night too,” You answered shyly.

He laughed softly at the word 'Oppa' and continued walking towards his door.

You closed your door and sighed. You changed into your pink pajamas with teddy bears printed on it and brushed your imprisoned teeth.

You lay in your bed and before you closed your eyes, your hands suddenly touched your lips... You remembered the kiss. Chanyeol’s kiss.

It made you smile stupidly for some reason and after a few seconds, you quickly drifted off into a deep slumber.
