Chapter 45

Baekhyun was bummed out.

Guess why?

Yep. You chose Kyungsoo. And yeah. He got heartbroken. But he never told anyone. He just really made you aware of it.

"It was just an interview! Plus, it was days ago!" You told the gloomy bacon.

"Yeah right! You made me looked weaker than Kyungsoo!" He whined...rather cutely.

Kyungsoo who was supposed to be just passing by, suddenly stared at him evilly but with a sly smile of victory, being the Kyungsoo Satan he is...

"Oh stop it~ I don't really know why you are acting like this Bacon, I mean it's not even a big deal!" You said while massaging your temple. Stress was invading you.

"Blablabla, I can't hear you," Baekhyun childishly said while covering his ears.

This child is really...UGH!!!! Your mind was about to blow a fuse.

You took a deep breath, "Baekhyun Oppa, I'm gonna go take a walk okay? Tell the others too okay?" You calmy said, eyeing him.

Baekhyun wanted to avoid your stare and pretended you didn't exist but, he can't. Seriously, he just can't.

You're far too beautiful to not exist in this world... Baekhyun thought.

He sighed in defeat, "Yeah. Fine. Go and Whatever~"

"Thanks Bacon! I'll promise to bring you some sweets when I get back!" You gibbered and got your coat then went straight outside. Leaving Baekhyun alone in the living room.

Baekhyun who was so into the blues awhile ago, was now riding the sun along with his smile that couldn't be wiped off.

"I'm supposed to be mad at her...but why do I feel so happy?" He asked.himself.

But deep deep inside him, he already knew the answer to his very question.

"Ahh~ Stress!" You complained while massaging your temples again.

You were walking along the wide streets. Not knowing where your feet will take you, letting fate decide your path.

Along your wandering, you spotted an ajushhi selling your all time favorite, namely... "Dalgona!!!" you squealed in excitement. The stress was slowly fading away.

You watched in awe as the ajushhi stirred the powdered sugar inside it's metallic oval container. Beneath it was the glowing fire of a small stove. The sugar was melting, turning into a light brownish sticky liquid.

The ajushhi shaped the newly done Dalgona and marked a star shape on the center with the use of a cookie cutter. He reapeated the process again and again while you watched in wonder. For you, it was a piece of art. I mean this sweet biscuit can take you to the heaven of the sweets!
[Note: For those who have no clue,Dalgona is the name of the sweet biscuit that EXO ate during the EXO Showtime when the exo chinese members toured around Seoul. And also during EXO Showtime E.P 12 when Tao wanted to make some.]
