This Chapter is a New Year Special but mianhae if it's late and kinda short! And p.s I just made this chapter this morning, like the moment after I woke up, so mianhae again if it's a boring chap? And I really really wanted it to be long but I ran out of juice!

Chapter 48

Waking up on a New Year morning felt comfy. You took a peek outside your glass window, It was snowing as usual. You peeked more and you saw the glorious rising sun.

After you finished prepping yourself, you went outside your room wearing a pair of fluffy panda slippers. It just makes your feet warm you know. You dragged your butt to the kitchen cuz your stomach was alread growling in demand for food. Kyungsoo was already at the kitchen, it seems like he's preparing to bake a  New Year's cake.

"Morning Yan~ Happy New Year!" Kyungsoo greeted and cheerily smiled as he was mixing all the cake ingredients in a bowl.

You simply waved and smiled as you said your, "Good Morning Kyungsoo Oppa~ Happy New Year too!" And went on to watch some New Year special's on the t.v. As you were walking towards the living room, you bumped with Luhan who just finished taking a bath, "Oh Mianhae!" Luhan said, but he quickly bowed his head when he saw it was you and ran away as quicky as possible, not giving you a chance to say a word. You were about to greet him a Happy New Year...

But it was terribly awkward to even have a convo with Luhan after what happened a week before. You kinda missed chatting with him, but you're too shy to even go to him and naturally chat like nothing had happened.

You got to the couch and comfortably sat down, glad that you got there first. Five minutes after, Kai arrived and sat beside you. Then without saying a word, he snuggled to you. Hugging you, snaking his arms around your waist and laying his head in your right  shoulder near your neck. You weren't still used to this sudden closeness but before you could object, Kai spoke with eyes closed, "Don't move, I'm cold and need human warmth."

"But--"

"I like your warmth so please let me cuddle to you. And besides, it's a new year."

But why don't you go cuddle to Kyungsoo instead! Psshh this kid, Aishhhh.

"---Fine." You gave up.

Kai snuggling to you felt nice...and warm. It was a comfortable feeling when Kai cuddled to you, though he was pretty heavy.

You just went on watching t.v., soon enough Chen arrived.

"Yaaah, Kai! What's with the position???" Chen asked the sleeping Kai cuddled into you.

"Why? You jealous Hyung?" Kai replied, eyes closed.

"Ah--This kid--Ahh jinja...I'm just saying that you're not allowed to do that to Yanni!"

"Wae? Yanni said I can do it."

Chen looked at you with eyes saying 'You can't do this to me'.

"I got no other choice, Mianhae Oppa~" You simply told Chen not breaking your gaze from the television.

Chen heavily sighed, "Kai you lucky dog."

"You're just jealous Hyung."

Chen gasped, pointed a finger to Kai and answered, "You watch out! I can't believe I'm arguing to a sleeping dog...Ahh Aishhh." Chen then stormed away, and went to Suho who just woke up bytheway, for motherly comfort.
