I woke up to the male, our mate, licking my fur. I kept my eyes closed purring. When I felt him stop I looked up at him, he was grinning down at me. After a little more time I trotted toward the tree I used to shift last night and shifted grabbing my dress I slipped it on. When I walked back from behind the tree I saw a man sitting under a tree with a black shirt and simple shorts. He must have heard me come near him because his eyes snapped towards mine. He was breathtaking, I looked him up and down. He must have noticed me checking him out because he smirked. I blushed and looked down, my feet still taking me towards him. Once I was right in front of him he stood up. May I say he was really tall! Most likely six-three, I thought. He reached his hand out towards mine, "Hello, Mate." His voice is amazing, a rough deep fire crackling voice. It sent a shiver down my spine. "Hi.." I said awkwardly taking his hand. "My name is Ulric and yours, Mate" He questioned. I blushed looking up at his eyes, "I am Leda, nice to meet you." I said politely. He chuckled pulling me down with him, I ended up sitting on his lap instead of next to him. Blushing I looked at are intertwined hands, "I want to know about you." I hear him whisper in my ear. "Okay, what do you want to know?" I questioned. "Whatever you are willing to tell me," was his response. Nodding I started to speak, "I'm Leda, im 16, I live with my father, my favorite color is blue.. Like your eyes, I love to play piano. Uhm, I have three friends, and i'm home schooled." I said looking up at the sky. "You sound amazing, now I must return the favor. I'm Ulric, I live with my mother and younger sister, my favorite color is grey, I play acoustic guitar, and I have a friend, Taran, and lastly I have a beautiful mate." He said back, grinning. "Well it was nice meeting you Ulric, but I must go before my father gets home. We will talk soon." I said standing up, before he could respond I was darting towards my car turning around only to see him staring at me. With one last smile I left. When I got home my father thankfully wasn't home yet so I still had time to make sure it looked like I've been here the whole time. Walking into the kitchen I grabbed some leftover pasta and heated it up. Once it was done I walked to the living room and turned on the TV getting myself comfortable on the couch I started watching a favorite show of mine.. I was laughing so hard by the end of one of the episodes I didn't even notice my dad standing at the doorway watching me, but when I stopped dying I felt his gaze on me so I turned around to see him smiling at me, so I smiled back patting the spot next to me scooting over to make some room for him. He came over and sat down next to me watching the show with me, but I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't paying attention so I paused it. "Hey dad, I have something to tell you," I spoke nervously turning my head to look at him. "Okay, what is it Leda?" He asked looking over at me. "I found my mate. Before you say anything, we met last night when I was almost attacked my a wolf and he came and saved me.. We may have slept together for a couple hours until he wanted me to show him my wolf, I did. Then we both changed into our human forms and talked about ourselves for a bit.. He's so nice dad!" I practically was squealing like a schoolgirl while telling him this.

"Wow that's great hunny! He didn't say anything about your fur coat?" My dad questioned. "No why would he dad?" "Oh nothing important right now,well.. When do I get to meet this mate of yours?" He smiled. "Well I don't know when you can meet him, we only just met." I blushed. "What pack is he from?" He questioned. "Hm, I guess I forgot to ask, well it's starting to get late i'm heading to bed, night Dad!" I yelled already half way up the stairs. Waking up early this morning I decided to go for a morning run in the woods. Taking off into the woods I did not shift until I was far enough away for anyone to see me. I've been running for hours when I heard a whimper, than a whine. Following the sound I quickly sped up. Once I reached to where the noise was I peaked behind a tree to see a little pup whimpering, blood covering the poor thing.

Quickly making my decision I ran towards the pup. When I got close enough the only thing I could smell was blood. I quickly grabbed the pup by its scruff careful not to hurt it anymore I started sniffing out any parks near by. I started to smell something strange so I kept heading in that direction. I reached a tree that was covered in the smell. I looked farther up the tree to see claw markings this has to be, it I thought. Running through the territory would be risky but I had to save the pup, I could tell it was slowly dying from blood loss. Making my decision I ran across the border, I didn't stop until I heard howl up ahead. Frozen in place I looked around to see I was being surrounded by wolves. Panicking I gently set the pup down and stood over it. Growling back I waited for something to happen. "What have we here?" I heard a voice behind me I quickly turned around growling, my hackles raised. "Rogues are not allowed in our pack," He said glaring at me. Being in my wolf right now I can't really tell him what i'm doing here.. Oh boy. He must have noticed my look because he nodded to a nearby thick tree. "Don't even try to run or else I will kill you." He said snarling at me. Slowly walking to the tree I kept my eyes on the pup. After shifting back I put my clothes back on and slowly walked back out. Keeping my head down I walked a little faster to grab the pup. Reaching down I picked it up and cradled it in my arms. Slowly looking back up at the guy I raised my eyebrow in silent question. "Im taking you to the cells, the Alpha isn't home yet. Come." He said walking towards what I think is the "pack house" Am I a dog to him? "No he's just a jerk." Ash replied making me jump. Hmph, I sighed walking behind him.. Well trying to anyway. He had guards in every spot, surrounding us.

Walking down to what i'm guessing was the cell rooms I kept quiet cradling the pup in my arms. Looking down at it I noticed its breathe shallow and its eyes closed. Starting to panic I pulled it closer to me, letting out a small whimper. I snapped out of it when I heard metal slam against each other. Looking up I noticed they had walked me into a cell before walking away without another word. Looking around I was a tiny cotton bed laying in the corner. Walking to it I sit down to where my back is laying against the wall. Putting my legs up I cradled the pup in my arms, shaking it a bit to hopefully wake it. After trying for a bit I gave up and plopped down with the pup against my chest. So much for saving the pup, I thought as I drifted into sleep.
