once mingyu was gone, she felt this sudden feeling of loneliness. it wasn't exactly the first time, but this time seemed a bit more... painful. she thought about calling seojoon but she didn't know where he was, so it'd be useless to call someone who isn't at the place you want to call.  she pushed the thoughts away and grabbed another cookie. "whatever..." she groaned to herself.

mingyu sighed and looked up at the plain ceiling of the class

mingyu sighed and looked up at the plain ceiling of the class. he was in art class and because there was an odd number of students — because one of his classmate was absent — he was left alone for the team work the teacher had left. for a second, he thought that he should have stayed with suri instead of coming in class.

he barely knew her, but he kind of missed her. he missed her brown hair — which was obviously dyed, in his opinion, because of the overgrown strawberry blonde roots — he missed the pale freckles on her baby cheeks. he also missed her hazel almond eyes.

"mingyu, bro. are you alright? you don't seem there. is it because of that girl?" his friend asked but he only shook his head, saying he was tired as an excuse. of course, it was a lie.

yes, it's because of that girl.

the next day, suri was discharged, and because seojoon was busy, he had to call mingyu to go pick her up

the next day, suri was discharged, and because seojoon was busy, he had to call mingyu to go pick her up. she hesitated before following few steps behind. the outside world — like she'd call it — for some reason, seemed more normal, than the usual. suri barely felt disgusted when her eyes fell on a couple holding hands.

"do you still want to go to school?" mingyu looked down and noticed how short the girl was. she barely reached his shoulders.

"are you hungry?" she shook her head, her hair swinging left and right. she saw how he was now standing next to her, and his broad shoulders were touching hers. suri felt shivers through her whole body. "oh. well, here." the boy gave her a paper bag, and feeling the heat coming from it, suri knew it was food. again.
