Opia (Ichigo x reader)

Dinner

It's cold out. You've been working all day with Urahara, Jinta, Ururu, and Tessai. You're very tired. Ichigo left for school 6 hours ago, so you're hoping he'll be back soon. Urahara comes up to you and pats you on the back.
"Please sit." He says gesturing to the table. You both sit down and he pours you both warm tea.
"It's your first day back in the world of the living and you've been doing so well. I've asked you to help and you had no problem with it. I look forward to having you around."
"Thank you very much, Urahara. I'm happy to be in the world of the living again. Though I'm still trying to get used to it." You explain.
"I'm happy to hear that. I'm sorry you have to live here with us. You being here helping around, I'm hoping, will get rid of any suspicions. I'm surprised no one in the soul society has noticed someone is missing. Most likely because you were in the 75th district. I hear things are rough there."
"No! Urahara, you mustn't apologize to me for letting me stay here. I am very grateful you did Ichigo and I this favor. I'm more than willing to help with whatever you need. I know it was dangerous for you and Yoruichi to get me here."
"Indeed it was. But we were happy to do it." You both smile at one another and take a sip of tea.
"Say didn't Ichigo invite you to go to dinner with him and his family this evening after he was done with school?" Urahara asks.
"Oh crap! You're right." You exclaim. You look down and you changed from your dress Uryu made you so you wouldn't ruin it. You look like a mess.
"I can help with that!" You wear voice say. You turn around and it's a cat?! You stand there with your mouth wide open.
"Yoruichi, I don't think (Y/N) has seen you in this form." Urahara says holding in a laugh.
"That's Yoruichi?!" You say pointing at the cat. Then she transformed into her normal self. But- but she's naked! You turn around quick not to invade her personal space.
"Put these on." Urahara says tossing her some robes.
"Hahah she acted just like Ichigo when he first say me transform. They really are very alike and meant for one another." Yoruichi giggles. This made you turn around and blush.
"Anyway, I have your dress and a few others Uryu was kind enough to make. Let's take a look." She grabbed your arm and walked you to a different room.

After 40 minutes of Yoruichi getting you ready, you look in the mirror. Wow, I look- I look amazing. You think to yourself. Yoruichi comes up behind you and puts her hand on your shoulder.
"He'll love it. Any time now he'll be here to pick you up to take to his house. Oh gosh, I'm excited for you!" Yoruichi exclaims.

----MEANWHILE AT THE KUROSAKI FAMILY HOUSEHOLD----

"Yuzu! *pant* Have you started dinner?" Ichigo exclaimed bursting in the front door.
"Yes, Ichigo. I just finished. No need to worry. I promise. Ohhhhh! I'm so excited. When you told us last night that you are bringing a girl over, I was instantly thinking about what I would make! I'm sure everyone will love my dinner." Yuzu says excitedly.
"I'm just surprised he even likes a girl enough to bring her to this crazy house." Karin said walking down the stairs while Ichigo runs up past her in a hurry. Ichigo runs into his room quickly undressing to get into something nicer. Once he is dressed he runs downstairs to check on everything. Yuzu and Karin are just setting the table. Then Isshin bursts through the door.
"Ah! My boy is finally becoming a man!" He exclaims. He grabs Ichigo, head locks him and starts rubbing his head.
"Ugh! Dad stop! I need to go!" Ichigo said as he kicks his way out. He grabs a jacket and heads out the door. Before closing it he looks back in at his family and says calmly, "Please be ready."
Yuzu, Karin, and Isshin all look at him and give a smile and wave of assurance. Ichigo smiles back at them and runs out the door to you.

Knock knock!

The nervousness starts to kick in when Tessai begins to open the door. Ichigo is slowly revealed as it opens. Your heart begins to beat faster and faster. Ichigo walks in and grabs your hands and looks at you for a long time.
"Wow." He said looking down at you. Then he took you in for a hug. A spontaneous, collective "awwwweee" came from everyone in the room, except Jinta who has his arms crossed but even he was holding back a smile. As yours and Ichigo's hug broke off, he grabs your hand and you two walk to his house. You haven't been outside Urahara's shop since you've been in the world of the living. You grab Ichigo's arm like if you didn't he would disappear. You looked up at the stars in amazement. You've forgotten how wonderful they are at night.
"We are almost to my home. My sister Yuzu makes the best dinners. She made a special one for you coming over. Everyone is very excited meet you." Ichigo said looking down at you. "I also apologize for my dad now. I don't know if he'll do anything stupid."
"Ichigo, you don't have to apologize. I am very excited too." You say smiling up at him.

You two walk up to the house door and Ichigo opens it for you and you walk in to be immediately greeted by an abrupt hug from Yuzu.
"Oh goodness, (Y/N), it's so amazing to see you!" She exclaims. She took your hand and walks you to the table where Karin and Isshin are seated. Ichigo then intercepts her and pulls out a chair for you. Once you sit, he pushes it in. And sits across from you.
"Hi, I'm Isshin, Ichigo's dad. It's nice to meet you." He said as he shook your hand across from the table. Karin was sitting next to you and did the same thing. Then you realize all the amazing looking food in front of you.
"Wow Yuzu, you made all of this?? It looks so good!" You exclaim and you begin to dish yourself.
"Yes! Thank you so much. Karin helps too."
You look over at Karin and say, "this looks amazing." She gave you a giant smile.
The dinner goes on for an hour. Full of laughs, fun and cute stories about Ichigo as a young child.
"I remember when Ichigo was just four years old, he used to always ask me to play with him and his little toys he loved soooo much and every time we'd pretend we were floating in space fighting crime!" Isshin explained with a mouth full of food and a large smile. While Ichigo was slouching over his food blushing.
"Shut up you old man." He whispers.
"I think that was the cutest thing I've ever heard." You say looking at Ichigo hunched over. He looks up and smiles big at you.
Once dinner was over, you helped Yuzu pick up the table and wash dishes. You two talked about Yuzu's life at school. She told you about her crushes and mean girls and you listened very happily. Giving her advice when needed. Ichigo came up to you now and then to very cute like, hug you from behind and whisper in your ear and ask how you're doing. Isshin even got a picture with the four of you all together.
"Say Yuzu, before we finish completely cleaning up, can I ask you a favor?" You ask.
"Sure!" She replies.
"You are a very good cook. I loved everything you made."
"Thank you!"
"So I was wondering if you and I could whip up maybe a pastry or two for someone I need to make something for as a token of appreciation and there is no one else I would rather to do it with. And you too Karin!" You explain.
"I would love to!!" They both shout.
You got the idea to make something sweet for Urahara and Yoruichi, given if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be here with Ichigo and his family. Yuzu and Karin get everything ready for you all to bake. Ichigo sits down on the living room couch to finally relax. Looking at the three most important girls in his life all together, having fun. He has never been happier in his whole life. You look back at him with flour covered hands and you both look at each other, swimming in complete bliss.
