The Cold War Begins

It's been five whole days with Ichigo. Today is when he will have to go back to school. You're currently helping him get ready in his room. This made you a bit sad considering you've spent most of these days together.
His injuries are nearly healed. He would always try to pick you up and twirl you around but once you saw what was under those bandages while helping replace them with new, clean ones, you were very strict on what he should or shouldn't be doing. But of course, he'd lie and say he was perfectly fine.
Same thing goes for his attitude... He hasn't been himself. You can tell he is trying and sometimes for a little while, he'll forget and have natural laughs and smiles. But it's still eating at him what happened that day with the two arrancars, Ulquiorra and Yammy. You always tried your best to make him happy and forget about it and he would try to push it away when around you. Though you had a conversation with Karin and she informed you that he was just silent when you weren't around. That made you worry so much about him when you two were apart.

"I could do this myself." Ichigo says to you sitting down in a desk chair when you finished helping him put on his shirt over his bandaged head.
"I know you could. But I want to help." You grab Ichigo's tie and sit on his lap. You put the tie around the back of his neck and pull him in for a passionate kiss. You pull away and move your hips around a bit to tease him. That made him really on edge. He grips your shirt a bit. You start to tie his tie for him, making sure it was perfect. You looked up to see the total hunger he has for you in his eyes.
"If only I didn't have to leave for school in 5 minutes." He said biting his lip and going in for one more long, passionate kiss. You step off of his lap and grab a brush.
"Your hair is so messy." You say starting to brush it for him.
"Seriously, I am capable of these things." He says laughing a little.
"Shhhhh, I don't think you've brushed this hair in 3 days." You giggle.
"Wha- not even! Maybe like a day and a half." He says smiling. "Though it does feel nice having someone else brush it for you." You both giggle. Once you are done with his hair he stands up to look in the mirror. You come up behind him and hug him, wrapping your arms around him and quickly poking him in the tummy real fast, playfully.
"Look at how handsome." You say looking in the mirror also.
"I'm nothing compared to your beauty." He says turning around to look at you.
With your face buried in his chest you say, "I love you."
"I love you too." He whispers.
Your hug breaks and he turns to grab his shoes to put them on. He sits on his bed. You know he is going to want to do this himself.
You go to his closet and pick out his "nice vibes" to hear around today. It's very big on you but you love it. It's comfortable and it smells just like him.
"You love that one huh?" Ichigo asks while you put it over your head.
"Haha yeah, I guess it's my favorite." You reply.
"Why don't you keep it?"
"Thank you but no way. You gotta keep it and wear it so when I decide to wear it, it will always smell like you." You explain. He smiles at that, a real smile. He finished getting his shoes on and you two walked down the stairs and out the door.
You decide that you'll walk him to school. It was a rather quiet walk. Along the way, Urahara calls you and asks you to run errands in town considering you were already out and about. Once you reach the high school, you give Ichigo a long hug and kiss. People were walking by and you could hear them whispering about how they were amazed by the sight of Ichigo with somebody.
I guess this means he isn't easy to get. You think to yourself. This made you feel very lucky. Your hug broke and he walked away with a faint "I love you". You told him the same and headed off for town. Urahara wanted you to get some supplies for cleaning. You walked back to Urahara's shop to grab some money and headed off bringing Ururu with you for company. You think that she also wanted to go to get a break from Jinta yelling constantly.
While on your journey, Ururu convinced you to take the both of you to get something to eat.
Sitting at the table, Ururu asked how your training had been going. She doesn't know anymore because you've become to strong to practice with her anymore but the other way around now.
You tell her how you've been training a lot with Tessai on kidō, but you only know a few and aren't really good at it.
"It takes many many years to master. You're actually going at a normal pace. Tessai once told me it took him 100s of years to get where he is on kidō today. Also you have a lot of brute force, very much like Ichigo. To where kidō would only be something you'd need in an impossible battle." Ururu explained.
You two continued on talking for a while before getting up and going to get the things Urahara requested.
You two had to go to multiple stores looking for the very specific things he wanted, this kinda annoying you both. Once you've finally gotten everything checked off, you headed back to the shop. When you were half way there, and in the middle of your conversation about battle strategy, you both froze in the street. You feel Ichigo's spiritual pressure. It's weak though.
"I've got the bags. You go. I brought a mod soul for this situation. I'll tell Urahara what happened." Ururu said.
"Thank you." You say jumping into shinigami form. You run as fast as you can and try to attempt flash step but failed because you haven't practiced much.
You start to approach the spiritual energy and it's getting stronger. You can begin to hear faintly a familiar voice shouting. You turn the corner to see... Rukia. You stop dead in your tracks. There's a hollow.
"That's the kind of man you are in my heart!" She yells.
You can see Ichigo's whole spirit lift. He looks up and let's out a good yell and defeats the hollow with a single blow.
You stand amazed at whatever Rukia must have said to him to get him like this. It kinda made you feel bad you couldn't.
The dust clears up and you can see Rukia standing looking proud. She turns her head to see you standing there.
"Wha- what are you doing here? Why do you have shinigami uniform?" She asks surprised unable to find words.
Ichigo looked really worried. He walked up to Rukia, "Rukia, you- you have to understand-"
"Oh no. I understand that you did something illegal, Ichigo. For your own selfish reasons. I just had this talk with you moments ago about being selfish."
Ichigo stood speechless. She walks up to you.
"It's actually nice to see you again, (Y/N)." Rukia said. "Considering that you went from having a little noticeable spiritual pressure to this in a matter of a month, Kisuke probably had something to do with this."
You shake your head.
"Where are you staying?" She asks.
"I'm staying with Urahara at his shop. I've become like family with all of them there." You say quietly.
"Hm, well Ichigo, you're coming with me to find Orihime."
"Eh- Orihime?" He asks surprised.
"Yes, I'm going to make you apologize to her."
"What about (Y/N)? Aren't you going to do something?" He asks quietly. Rukia walks up to him and puts her hand on his shoulder.
"Ichigo, I can tell there's no where else she'd rather be than here with you. And remember, in the beginning of all this? When you helped hide me when I did something I shouldn't have? I've decided I'll do the same for you. The only thing I'll do is stay quiet. I can't control if anyone else sees her and say anything. It's all I can do at this point without getting in serious trouble myself. This is your responsibility and it's not my fault if something bad happens."
You run up to Rukia and bow.
"Thank you." You say with tears in your eyes. "Thank you so much."
Ichigo walks over to you and hugs you.
"I'm sorry, I put you through what I did. I shouldn't have been so depressed like that and you had to deal with it. I'm sorry." He says to you.
"I'll be here always, no matter what. I promise."
Rukia stands there with her arms crossed looking at you guys with a big smile. Once your hug broke Rukia grabs Ichigo and starts dragging him back to the school.
You follow worried but also trying to hold back any laughs.
Once you got to the school, Rukia finds Orihime and calls her over.
"Inoue! Inoue!"
"K-Kuchki?"
"Long time no see, Inoue! I mean... Not really. Heh."
"You've gotten your injuries healed?!"
"Yeah... Thanks to you."
"Oh, I didn't nothing." Orihime says humbly.
"Um, Ichigo is here to saying something to you." Rukia said.
Orihime looked confused. She notices you in the back.
Ichigo looks up and says, "I'm sorry Inoue. For not protecting you. I promise I will become stronger and I will protect you."
Orihime turns around. "Thank you Ichigo. Thank you Rukia." She said walking off with tears in her eyes.
After Orihime left, you all decided to go back to the Kurosaki Clinic. You stopped by Urahara's for Rukia to say hello and to get your gigai real fast.
Once you reached the house, walking in to go up to Ichigo's room, him and Rukia were arguing about dumb things and you kinda just didn't listen. You were to bust thinking about how you wish you weren't able to help Ichigo with what he was feeling like Rukia did.
You were the first to enter the room and you just threw yourself on the bed. It kinda seems as if Ichigo's sadness started to manifest itself in you instead. After a little bit of sitting in Ichigo's room, he asked her about the arrancars and why we are being targeted. Then you hear another familiar voice.
Ichigo takes you and tells you to hide in the closet. You leave a little crack to see what is going on. Then his light bursts out of the ceiling. Then you see Renji poke his head out of the light causing it to fall on the ground. He then lands on it, breaking it. Then three others follow.
Through the conversation you find out that it is Rangiku, Ikkaku and Yumichika that accompanied him.
They continued talking about the arrancar. Though none of this was news to you having Urahara tell you all about it.
Then out of no where a shorter, white haired boy was sitting in Ichigo's window, Rangiku identifying him as Captain Hitsugaya. "There are three levels of menos. Gillian, Adjuchas, and then Vasto Lordes." He says. He keeps explaining how Aizen definitely has at least ten Vasto Lordes under his control and how they are stronger than a captain. It could be the end to the soul society.
You see the captain looks up slowly.
"Ichigo, I know." He said.
"T- Toshiro. What do you mean?" Ichigo said worried. You notice Rukia looking at him worried too.
"Come out." He said pointing to the closet. You didn't want to upset someone on captain level, so obeyed and slowly walked out. Renji, Rangiku, Ikkaku and Yamichika all collectively gasped.
"You didn't think Captain Yamamoto would know what you would do?" Toshiro asked.
Ichigo stood there frozen. Toshiro jumped into the room and walked up to you.
"I have two questions." He says. You nod your head.
"You gained shinigami powers didn't you?"
"Yes." You say timidly.
"Do you enjoy it here?"
"There's no where else in the universe I want to be."
Toshiro turns around to Ichigo.
"How well is her training?" He asks Ichigo.
"She achieved shinki in 3 days." Ichigo says looking at you proudly. Everyone looked wide eyed, like they couldn't believe such a statement.
"She can stay." Toshiro said. "Only if she continues to train with you and Urahara I'm sure too."
This is the best thing you've ever heard in your whole life. You begin to cry tears of happiness. Ichigo shoots up and grabs Toshiro and yells, "Thank you! Thank you so much!"
"It's not my decision. Captain Yamamoto told me to evaluate how everything was going by seeing if it was true Urahara was really training you. Though, she will be required to help us in the war with Aizen that is soon."
"That's fine with me." You say. "All this talk I've heard about this Aizen man has made me furious. I'll kill him myself if I must."
Ichigo looks at you worried. You walk up to him and hold his face and say, "I will be fine. I'll do anything to remain here with you. I want to become stronger. All I have to do is train. I promise everything will be fine."
Ichigo kiss you really fast and you go in for a hug. Once your hug broke, you felt yourself get picked up fiercely with squealing following it.
"Ichigo has a girlfriend?? How exciting! She's so cute!" Rangiku says. "You and I will get so close!"
You felt like you could explode she was squeezing you so hard but you didn't care. Anything to be here. It make you feel immediately accepted. It felt way to easy. But you won't complain.
"Hey!" Ichigo said but no one listened to him.
"Hey! I said." He yelled. Everyone simultaneously stopped talking and looked at him, you still being held by Rangiku.
"Where are all you going to stay tonight?" He asks.
"Wait, I can't stay here?" Rangiku whines suddenly dropping you on the ground.
"You expect us to have enough room for all you here?" Ichigo says.
Everyone then made their way downstairs and outside. Ikkaku and Yamichika walked off and Rangiku headed off to Orihime's with Toshiro following, giving you a quick wave goodbye.
"I think I'm going to head over to Urahara's." Renji says.
"I should head back there too." You say.
"Come with me?" Renji asks.
"Course!" You go up to Ichigo and hug him.
"Come over for some dinner tonight?" He says to you in your ear. "You are always invited."
"I definitely would love to." You say giving him a quick kiss and saying goodbye to Rukia. You and Renji head off to Urahara's.
"So, it's true you achieved shinkai in 3 days?" Renji asks you after a moment of silence.
"Uh- yeah I guess." You say.
"No, that's really amazing. It took my years and years."
"Well, Urahara helped with the process. It was kind of forced."
"I still think it's really cool."
"Heh- well thank you."
"What's it's name?" He asks.
"Oh um- it's Kasai Kōri."
"I was thinking, maybe tomorrow we can train. I want to test your strength. See how well you can do."
"Sounds like fun. I'll do it."
