Opia (Ichigo x reader)

Trust

You are woken up by Ichigo moving around. You slowly sit up and yawn. Rubbing your eyes you ask, "Morning. Whatcha moving around so much for?"
You open your eyes to see him studying his hand, like he has just seen a ghost.
"It's healed." He said still looking at his hand. Once he said that you became aware of some kind of spiritual pressure. Something similar but not.
"What? Who could have done that?" You ask. He looks over at you. "I'm not sure. I think both of us would have noticed if someone was in here."
Then the curtains start to ruffle open. Toshiro appears, he is standing in the window.
"It was Inoue."
Both you and Ichigo look at each other surprised. What was she doing here for in the middle of the night?
"Follow me. It's an emergency." Toshiro continued, jumping down out of the window. You and Ichigo got into shinigami form and did the same.
You guys began running. You looked up at Ichigo he looked very concerned. He just stared straight ahead. Quiet.
Once you go to Orihime's front door, Toshiro opened it for you and pointed you in. Ichigo following. It seemed everyone who was sent from the Soul Society was in there. Ichigo and I walked in rather slow and confused. Rukia looking back at us, with a look of absolute somber. Then looked away as if she was hiding potential tears.
"W- what are you all doing here in Inoue's room? Where is she?" Ichigo asked quietly.
"Well..." murmurs Rukia with her head down.
"What is the status of the Spiritual Wave interface?" Toshiro asks walking in behind you and Ichigo.
"Yes... we have managed to regulate it." Rangiku says, looking solemn.
"Put me through."
The screen begins to buzz. Then a connection forms. Captain Ukitake appears on the screen.
"Ukitake? This isn't the head captain?" Toshiro says confused.
"I had him switch it over to me."
"You're reason for doing that?"
"I was the last one to see Orihime Inoue before she went into the Senkaimon in order to go over to your side." Ukitake explains.
Everyone in the room gasps. Especially Rukia and Rangiku.
"Judging from your reaction, it doesn't seem she's arrived back there."
"What's the meaning of this, Ukitake? Where did Inoue disappear to?" Ichigo says stepping forward and getting worked up. "Do you know anything?!"
Ukitake looks down slowly, "I'll tell you my assessment." He began to explain how he sent Orihime though the Senkaimon to come back to the world of the living with two guards to make sure she gets through alright but no one from the trip never showed back up, "...So we are led to believe that Orihime Inoue was either abducted or killed by the arrancars."
"You can't jump to such conclusions!" You yell.
"I know, I don't want to say anything like that. I was just stating the worst possible scenario." Ukitake replied calmly. "All the information we have is that she was approached by an arrancar and never returned."
"You've got to be kidding! That's all you have?! She disappeared. You have no proof to say she is dead. So don't make such assumptions! Take a look at this. I was seriously injured from yesterday's battle! No one in here could heal this. Then I wake up this morning with it completely healed without a trace! Furthermore... my wrist, right here! There's still traces of Inoue's spiritual pressure!!" Ichigo yells holding his hand up to show Ukitake. "Are you going to say she's dead now?!"
"I see..." said head captain Yamamoto coming up from behind Ukitake. "That's unfortunate..."
"Unfortunate? Why would you say that?" You say stepping up to the screen.
"If it is as Ichigo says, then Orihime Inoue is indeed still alive. But... at the same time, it also means this is an act of treachery. If she was abducted, she wouldn't have had time to come and visit Ichigo. Therefore, she went with the arrancars on her own accord."
"You idiot!" Ichigo yells. Renji then comes up, past you, and grabs Ichigo's shoulder.
"Shut up. You'll only make your position worse if you keep on talking. I understand what your saying head captain. Therefore... I Hitsugaya advance troop member and squad 6 Lieutenant Renji Abarai, will head to Hueco Mundo to bring traitor, Orihime Inoue, to her senses!"
"R-Renji..." you say under your breath. He looks back you and Ichigo and smiles. Then there was a bang, caused by the head captains cane hitting the floor.
"You mustn't." He said sternly. You all promptly looked at the screen hopeless. "We know the arrancars are ready for battle. All the members of the Hitsugaya advance troop are to return immediately and defend the Soul Society."
"Are you saying you want us to abandon Inoue?" Rukia says behind us with her fists clenched, looking slightly at the ground.
"Indeed... we cannot risk the whole world over one life."
"Unfortunately, Head Captain, I cannot follow that order!" Rukia says bravely.
"I thought so... I thought this may happen, so I'm glad I prepared for it." Yamamoto says. Then behind you, a Senkaimon starts to open. Revealing Byakuya, looking serious as ever, and Kenpachi.
"That's how things stand... All of you, head back." Kenpachi says looking down at all of you, intimidating.
"Don't fight us... We've been ordered to take you back by force if necessary." Says Byakuya, looking just a bit somber trying not to make direct eye contact with Rukia.
There was a long pause of silence. Everyone looking at Ichigo and you like they have just seriously betrayed you guys but would give anything not to. You hold on to Ichigo's arm. He's looking down with a look you hoped you would never see on his face again. He grabbed your hand tight like if he didn't, you'd vanish.
"All right... Then I won't ask the Soul Society to help me, but at least tell me how to get into Hueco Mundo." Ichigo says solemnly. You grab him tighter letting him know you're willing to go with him and support him. He turns around, not letting go of your hand, and says, "Inoue is our friend. I'll go save her by myself if I have to."
"Ichigo..." Rukia murmurs. There was a pause.
"You mustn't!" The head captain slightly yells.
"What?!" You say.
"We need both of your guy's help in this battle... I won't allow you to plot your own course of action and die for nothing! With this case, I would advice (Y/N) to return back to the Soul Society with the rest of the group. You won't be sent back to the West Rukongai, but you will be staying with Captain Ukitake and his squad for he has agreed to keep watch of you. You should be grateful of him agreeing to do this and Kisuke Urahara for getting you to the point to where you can call yourself a Shinigami. Byakuya, if you have to, take (Y/N) by force as well. As for you Ichigo, stand by until you receive anymore orders. That is all!" Then the large screen turned off abruptly.
"You must hate me!" Ichigo yells slamming his fits on the screen, letting go of your hand. Everything seemed to go by in slow motion. You couldn't believe the words you were just told. You can't leave Ichigo here alone after all this. You just can't. Then Ichigo turns around and runs toward you with his arms open you do the same. Then Byakuya flash steps in front of you. You stop dead in your tracks. He looks down at you and slightly takes his zanpakutō out of it's sheath, as a threat he didn't want to make. He then grabs you and you start to yell for Ichigo. He was kneeling on the ground, using every molecule in the body not to cry or chase after you. Rukia was standing there telling him lightly why you had to be taken back, with tears flooding down her face. She looked up at you and said to Ichigo, "...don't worry, she was assigned to my squad. I will look after her. I promise I'll get her back here. I promise. Please don't do anything stupid."
But Ichigo just ignored her and looked up at you. You gave up trying to kick and scream. Byakuya is way to strong for you to get out of his grip. You held out your hand as Byakuya walked you into the light of the gate, Ichigo's shape disappearing each second. It seems like a million years has passed by in this moment. Rukia was walking behind you now. She was the last one to go in, she turned around and said, "I'm sorry" to Ichigo and the gate closed in her face.
