A Merlin and Morgana Love - Story <3 - Part 4

I woke with hay in my face and hair, I rolled over and came face to face with Merlin, he was still asleep I kissed his lips, and he woke.  He eyes adjusted to the light of the barn house. 

"Morning Beautiful" he said
I laughed "Morning handsome" I said kissing his lips again. 
Merlin then broke the kiss he had both hands on the side of my face he smiled and laughed 
"what?" I said 
"your hair" he laughed 
"oh shut it" I said getting up and putting my clothes back on. Merlin still layed in the hay 
"well are you going to get up?" I asked 
"No I want stay here" he said, I walked over to him and tried to pick him up, but he just pull me down will him, I lay in his arms he put his fingers through my hair he tuck my hair behind my eyes. 
"I love you" he said 
"I love you, too" I said smiling trying not to cry. 
"I want to stay with you forever" he said 
"and so do I" I said, tears starting to fall from my eyes, 
Merlin wiped them away with his thumbs. 
"Don't cry, because if you cry I will too" he said kissing me, 
"I don't want to leave" I said 
"We could stay here for the rest of our days" he laughed 
"I would, if I could if it wasn't for me -" 
"Don't say things like that...if you weren't here I wouldn't be the luckiest man in the world" he said I laughed and fell into a deep kiss with him, we rolled over in the hay and I got more hay in my hair, but I didn't care not one bit.  I laughed and so did Merlin. 
"why don't we just stay here all day...together" he said 
"I can't" I said with a sigh. 
"Right" Merlin said,
There was a silence I bit down hard on my lip and then looked into his blue eyes my heart sunk, I wanted so much to spend the day with him, but that could never happen people would notice that I wasn't there and when I say people I mean Uther. 

I leaned in a gave Merlin a quick kiss, I wanted to just lie there with him all day and not even care. 
"I better go" I said 
Merlin didn't answer me, he just rolled over in the hay not facing me.  I walked over towards the barn door and opened it, I looked back to where Merlin was, but this time he wasn't even there. I bit down on my lip, so hard that it started to bleed I sighed and then I pulled my hood over my head and started to walk back to the castle. 

I got inside the castle and walked to my room I was almost there without being court went I ran into the Prince again. 
"My lady" he said kissing my hand, I quickly pulled it away from him, 
"Something you want Prince" I said "oh wait that is right I do not care" 
"well someone didn't wake up on the right side of the bed" the Prince said 
I raise my eyebrow, I felt like saying you got that part right I didn't even wake up on a bed. But I was a lady and that sort of thing is frown upon. 
"I must be going"  I said opening my door and the shuting it in his face. 

Gwen was already in my room
"Morning" I said taking off my hood, 
"Morn- WHAT happened to you hair!" Gwen said as she turned around, 
I looked to my feet as if I were a child getting in trouble
"It does not matter, I get fix it" Gwen said, leading me to the chair which was no longer in front of a mirror. 
"what happened to the mirror" Gwen asked 
I didn't know what to say for a second, "I have no idea" I said I thought that was the best thing to say since the other option was that I had a dream and I broke the mirror in the dream and when I woke it was like that. The first option sounded like I was sane at least. 

Gwen took all the hay out of my hair and brushed my hair until it looked like it's old self 
"that's better" Gwen said, I could tell she was smiling even if the mirror wasn't there.  I got up out my chair and hugged her. 
"thankyou" I said 
"that is quiet alright my lady, now let's get you dress in something nice" she said 
I broke the hug and Gwen went and got one of my nice dresses. It was a deep blue. 
"oh yes" I said as soon as I saw it. 
"that's what I thought" Gwen said smiling 
I quickly got changed, 
"so breakfast my lady?" Gwen asked 
"I'm not hungry at the moment" I said 
"Then where to?" Gwen asked, 
"I'm going to go sit in the courtyard for a while, do come" I said 
"yes my lady" Gwen said as I opened the door and we made our way to the courtyard. 

Gwen and I sat in the courtyard watching people come and go, I leaned against a stone wall behind me and Gwen did the same. 
"Morgana what are we actually doing here" Gwen asked 
"I'm not sure" I said, but actually I knew why I was here, it was so I didn't have to sit have breakfast with that Prince. He annoyed me so much, and also why we were here was so I might be able to see Merlin but that didn't look like that was going to happen. 

After a hour or so, Gwen and I walked back up to the castle, I went to Arthur's room thinking Merlin might be there.  I knocked on the door, I heard footsteps on the otherside of the door they were coming closer and closer, the door opened.  To my disappointment it was Arthur, but I think Gwen was more than fine will that. 

"Morgana what do you want?" Arthur asked 
"Um...Have you seen Merlin?" I asked 
"No seen him since yesterday, why do you care?" Arthur said 
"arr Gwen was looking for him" I said, I turned and looked at Gwen who was glaring. Sorry I mouthed then she rolled her eyes. 
"anyway I think we better be going" I said turning to leave. 
"Morgana" Arthur yelled after me, I turned back "better go see Father sooner rather than later" 
I turned and sighed and kept walking I didn't want to go see Uther but like I had any other chose.  

I  walked into the Hall where Uther sat on his throne he was getting fater I swear. I bowed and the took my seat next to him. 
"Morgana!" he said with a smile, I could tell he was drunk this was actually the first time I had ever seen him drunk. 
"Uther" I said "you called for me" 
"Y-y-yess I -I did" he said 
"well?" I asked 
"there is a Prince that I would like to - to - to - to -to- to, what did I want to do again?" he said, I rolled my eyes,  leaned back in my chair and sighed. 
"should I come back when you remember" I said 
"that is no way to talk to a King" Uther said 
"yes, right my fault" I said getting up and leaving the Hall.  

Gwen was waiting for me outside the Hall 
"how did it go?" she asked 
"The good King is drunk" I said with a laugh. 
"well that's no good" I heard a voice from behind me, I knew it wasn't Merlin's or Arthur's I turned and saw the Prince. 
"and what do you want?" I said 
" I am a Prince I want many things" he said with a smirk on his face. 
"alright" I said  leaving him, 
"wait, wait" I heard him call me then I heard running footsteps. 
"what do you what from me" I said, this guy was starting to really, really annoy me. 
"just walk with me" he said offering me his hand.  I rolled my eyes I didn't want to touch him, but it was a lady's duty to take a man's hand if he offered her too.  I took his hand. 
"I will walk with you but just know that I am not happy about it" I said 
"well that's good enough" he said, 
"I bet you say that to all the girls" I said 
"ha - ha" he said 

We walked into the courtyard and through some of the back streets of the town. We talked about Camelot and his kingdom.  How things could be better for both if we got married. But I didn't like that idea.  I just wanted to be with Merlin.  It was starting to get dark, but we still walked in the moonlight. 
"do you think we would even work?" The Prince asked 
"I'm not sure, I mean I don't even know your name" I said 
The Prince laughed and smiled " Sir Louis" he said 
"I would say my name but you already know it" I said laughing. 
"so" Louis said putting his fingers through my hair.  This did not feel right.  I stepped away from him. 
"Please don't" I said, 
"why" Louis said stepping closer to me, he held my face with his hands they were cold, they were nothing like Merlin's, this Prince was nothing like Merlin.  I pushed him away. 
"don't!" I said 
"if we are to be married you are going to have to let me do this" he said he stepped closer to me, he had me cornered.  He grabbed my face and pulled me in for a forced kiss, it was horrible, I punched in the stomach, and ran as fast as I could back to the castle.

I was almost there when I heard someone come up behind me, and pulled me down. I screamed but I don't think anybody heard me.  I screamed and shouted and tried to punch him, but he forced me to the ground and got on top of me. 

"GET OFF, GET OFF" I screamed over and over again. 
"this will teach you a thing or two" Louis said. I screamed one last time and closed my eyes. But nothing happened, I slowly opened my eyes and saw Merlin standing there. He smiled down at me, then offered a hand and I took it. He took me in his arms, 
"where have you been?" I asked 
"That doesn't matter, what matters is that I came back just in time" he said hugging me tight. "I will never leave you again I promise" 
"and I promise you the same thing" I said 
I kissed him on the lips, I didn't want it to end but I knew it would.  Merlin then took my hand and walked me back up to the castle.  My heart was racing from what had just happened but also because Merlin was back with me, where he belonged.
