A Merlin and Morgana Love - Story <3 - Part 9

The sunlight woke me it was streaming in from an open window.  My blinked a couple of times and the stood up, I smiled when I saw Merlin sleeping on the dinner table. I walked over towards the door and went outside.  The warm cool air hit me, the smell of flowers filled my nose, it was beautiful. I walked into the middle of the village, it was such a nice place.  

"hey what are you doing?" I heard Merlin's voice yell from the house, I turned around and smiled 

"what are you doing?" I yelled back, Merlin smiled and then he came walking towards me 

"checking out the view" he said winking at me, which made me laugh,  Merlin pulled me into a kiss.  

"um"  Merlin and I both broke the kiss, to see Merlin's mother standing there watching us.  We were both speechless, I didn't know what to say or if I should say anything at all, was it wrong for me to kiss him, I mean we weren't married but that didn't matter to me why should it matter to her, she had Merlin and didn't have anyone to help her why was she jugding me. Merlin slowly walked away from me, did he know something I didn't? 

"I'm going for a walk" I said and then walked off into town, 

"wait Morgana!" I heard Merlin call after me, but that only made me walk faster into the crowd of people, even though there wasn't that many to get lost in.   

I walked to the other side of town where there was a lake I sat down on the egde of a rock looking to the cool, dark water.  I hated it here even though it was so beautiful but Merlin's mother just made everything so impossible and I had only been here one day.  I picked up a rock from the sand near the lake, it was covered in dirt and mud, I started to clean it off with my fingers. 

"what are you doing?" someone said it made me jump I looked over and saw Merlin's Mother, I turned back to look at the lake. 

"did you follow me?" I asked still cleaning off the rock, 

"yes" she said sitting down next to me I felt like moving away from her, 

"Morgana I know you don't like me" she said, I turned and looked at her I was about to say something bad about her so I bit down on my tough to stop myself 

"we could have been friends" I said even though I didn't believe it. 

"what makes you say that" she said 

I looked back to the view of the lake 

"I don't know" I said 

"oh" she said 

"what?" I said 

"nothing, nothing at all dear" she said 

I knew she had something to say but she probably didn't want me to hear it.  

"so where's Merlin?" I asked 

"back at the house" she said 

"oh ok, I might go back now" I said, what I didn't say was because I don't want to spend another minute with this woman. 

"Morgana" she said as I got up, even though it was hard to now.  

"what ? do you want me to stay here and have more of this weird talk?" I said 

"I want to try to be friends" she said 

"don't you think it's too late for that, I did nothing to you and just hate me" I said walking away from her before I started to cry, but as I did I heard Merlin's mother say something 

"she's just as evil as you told me" she said 

I was too busy walking away from her to care about what she meant.
