My Wildest Dreams

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my alarm clock waking me for school. It was 6:30 in the morning, and I really did not want to get out of the bed. I almost fell back to sleep when Drew threw open my door and sat on the edge of my bed him also still in his PJs.
"What do ya want Drew?" I asked sleepily stretching and rubbing my eyes to wake myself up a bit.
"I want you to get up and get dressed and do it quick cause I'm gonna bring you to school but first I have something I wanna show you so hurry."
"UGH! Do I have to?"
"Hmmmm... Let me think... Yes! Now come on hurry. Before I pull you out of the bed and dress you myself and I don't think you want that." After saying this a smirk appeared on his face before he continued.
"Or I could just do this!" He said slowly before suddenly, with no warning, grabbing my sides and tickling them moving to my stomach and tickling there too. I shirked and screamed with laughter as I squirmed beneath his touch. Finally I was able to catch my breath and say.
"Okay Okay... I'll get changed now."

After about 20 minutes I was ready, well as ready as I can be in 20 minutes, and I joined Drew downstairs. My hair was thrown into a ponytail, I had no make up on and well as for cloths I just had my school uniform on. So it was nothing fancy.
"Hey so I'm ready. So you gonna show me what it is you have to show me now?" I ask clearly annoyed that he got me up so early. Drew on the other hand has a big grin on his face.
"Yeah. Just get in the car I'll be there in a sec just have to grab something from the kitchen." He spins around and heads towards the kitchen and I do as I'm told and go to the car.

When I reach the car I'm even more annoyed to see that it's locked and just as I'm about to scream for Drew I hear the click to say the doors are unlocked and I turn around to see Drew approaching the car. I turn back to the car opening the passenger side door and getting in. It doesn't take long for Drew to enter the drivers side of the car and join me.
"Okay you ready?" He asks.
"As I'll ever be." I respond with a sarcastic smile.
"Great, then put this on." He says handing me a blindfold.
"Ahhhh not a chance." I scoff.
"Look it's only till we get there cause that's the surprise but you don't have to walk with that thing on." I glare at him and he gives me a puppy dog face and says
"Pwease" and so I give in. I mean come on he looks too cute when he puts on his puppy dog face.

I'd say maybe not quite 10 minutes later we arrive at our destination and Drew informs me that I can now remove my blindfold. And when I do I can't believe my eyes. He took me to a place hidden in the nearby woods that I haven't been to since I was about 6. Oh I'm getting all nostalgic looking at it. We get out of the car and start walking.
"Well this is my little hiding spot. It's where I come if I need to think or if I'm upset or mad. What do you think it's beautiful isn't it?" He was not wrong it is beautiful, trees surround you leaving small trails between them for you to walk and some have branches low enough for you to use as a seat. Big rocks are scattered through out the scene where you can also sit but some of them you may have to climb onto as they are just a small but bigger then the others. There is no real trail even driving in its not really a trail it's something you find by mistake.
"It is...but I have to ask how did you find it? Not many people have found this space it's so well hidden."
"You peeked!" I look at him confused before I remember the blindfold.
"Oh no! Am I used to come here as a kid with my parents and Zack. We would meet 2 of my parents friends here aswell and there son. I don't even remember their names. I was about 6 when I last saw them. I still have some pictures though. Well I have 1 of me and the boy. Apparently we were close. But I don't really remember much from back then, I'm not even sure why we never saw them again I kind of have a feeling that our parents just fell out and that was it. Anyway your turn how did you find it?"
"Well..." He starts "kind of the same way when I was 7 just turned was the last time I was here with my parents and their friends and their kids although I don't have pictures I wish I did though it would be nice to have something to remember it. But yeah I lived here when I was younger then we moved. When we moved back 2 years ago I remember this place didn't know where it was so I asked my parents and they showed me. I've been coming her since." I smile at him.
"Thank you. For taking me here. It's nice to come back and clear my thoughts for a bit." "Hey I can bring you back after school if you want. You know we don't really have much time to appreciate it now but if we come back we can take a walk climb some trees, some rocks maybe."
"Yeah... That would be nice actually. But ahh we should go home first so I can change out of this skirt if we are going to be climbing trees."
"Yeah your right home first then here. Then you can show me that photo you have aswell. And you can go all nostalgic on me again."

With that being said and plans made we head back to the car and head for school and I'm really not doing to bad I thought it was going to be hard going in cause of everything but knowing I have Drew and we have our plans for after its giving me something to look forward to. And little things like that get me through the day.

Break time comes and that's when I find Tara Amy and Nina. The friends that I have had all though my secondary school career. Of course the first thing Tara asked is why I left school early yesterday and why I didn't need a lift to school this morning. I explain about Zack being moved to Dublin but just say that a friend of my parents gave me a lift as they were asked by my parents to keep an eye on my and Luke. When they ask if they can come over that evening to help with anything I tell them that the people keeping an eye on us might be a little uncomfortable with that. I'm not really sure if Drew wants people knowing I'm staying with him. I know he is really nice but things just might get weird if they did.

No sooner had this thought left my mind and my name was called from behind me. I recognised the male voice as Drew but the look on my friends faces was priceless when they realised who was summoning me. When I turned around surly enough Drew was making his way towards us followed closely by Jason Damien and Brendan the rest of his group or his followers if you like. It doesn't take long before the 4 boys have reached us.
"Well hello." Drew smiles at me.
"Hello?" I reply, my eyebrows raised in question.
"Ammm Maz what's going on here?" I hear Tara ask and I turn to see all 3 girls giving me weird looks.
"You haven't told them? Aww is Maz embarrassed?" Drew asks. I quickly turn to see a smirk on his face.
"Did you really just call me Maz?"
"Yes, yes I did and I am quite proud of it as that is also what your friends and your brother Zack call you. Luke... Well I would rather not repeat what he calls you. And that doesn't answer my question."
"How do you know Zack calls me Maz?" I ask confused my eyebrows knitted together to emphasise how confused I am.
"Hmmmm... Let's see well it has nothing to do with that fact that he called you yesterday. And answer my question." He is still smirking. I'm so gonna get him for this later. My friends are gonna kill me.
"Well do your friends know?" Before Drew has a chance to answer Brendan pipes in "What that your living with him? Yeah we know. He hasn't shut up about it all morning."
"Dude!" Drew punches Brendan in the arm.
"Ow. Jez man what was that for?" Drew's only response is a glare.
"Wait hang on your living with him?!?!" I turn around at Amy's question to see the girls half angry half mad. I knew they wouldn't be happy I didn't mention it. I nod my head looking at the floor waiting for them to start giving out.
"Okay... And ahh when did this happen and where you ever going to tell us?" As expected it is Nina that asks and she sounds annoyed but also expected as she is the hot headed one.
"Okay look it was only yesterday that's why I had to leave early okay yes Zack was moved to Dublin and that's why we had to move into Drew's house. I didn't know if he would be cool with people knowing I myself thought it might be a little awkward if people did know. I don't know why but I did. And last it was me that moved not ye its my business and I had just found out that my brothers condition had worsened so sorry for not revealing everything to you but would you rather I had told you about Zack or about Drew?" I go of in a rant but it is surprisingly calm.

After my little rant the girls start to calm down.
"I guess your right. We would prefer to know about Zack. We're sorry." Tara apologises while Amy and Nina smile apologetically and nod their heads in agreement to what Tara has said.
"Okay now that that's sorted why did you think I wouldn't be cool with people knowing?" Drew asked confused.
"It's not that I thought you wouldn't be I didn't know if you would be I myself thought if might be awkward and it is your house and your the one whose reputation would be tarnished I'm a nobody so it wouldn't really affect me." Is my response. Drew shakes his head and smiles at me before saying
"I told I didn't care last night remember. Your not a nobody to me." I smile
"Right I will remember that in the future."

The rest of the school day goes by pretty quickly the lads spend lunch with me and the girls. And it's nice to have more then 3 people to talk to at lunch and in class. The lads have started talking to me in the classes I have with them aswell. All in the space of 1 day. Just shows that the popular kids aren't always mean.

After school I met Drew by his car and we came home. We are currently changing before we quickly eat and go back to our hidden treasure in the woods. I am just finished changing and I look for my old photo remembering that Drew wanted to see it. I take it out of my purse and put it in my pocket. I leave my room closing my door behind me. I traipse down the stairs and enter the kitchen where Drew is placing a sandwich each on a plate for us and moving it to the island in the middle of the kitchen. We eat our sandwich in silence and Drew tells Sheila that we are going for a drive to the woods. She replies telling us not to be home too late or she will send Mark to look for us.
