Drew's POV.
"So I've got 'Marley & Me', 'The Lion King' and 'The Proposal'. So take your pick and then take the popcorn and I'll put in the movie." I say leaving the movies down in front of Maz.
"Hhmmmmm... I think I'm gonna pick... 'The Proposal'. "
"Perfect. Then you take this and I'll take that and we are in business." I say handing her the popcorn and snatching the movie from her to put it in. I then return to the bed and we curl up under the blanket getting comfortable waiting for the DVD to start. I put my arm around Maz pulling her close, and that's where she stays close to my side as we laugh throughout watching 'The Proposal'. We decided to put on 'The Lion King' next as it was still pretty early after the first movie. We laugh at Timone and Pumba and we sing along to all of the songs and laugh at how terrible we are.

When the movie is finally over we decide it's time to turn it off and try to go to sleep. As I get up to leave Maz grabs my wrist causing me to turn to face her.
"Could you stay in here tonight? Please? I don't really want to be on my own."
Without thought I lay back down on the bed facing Maz.
"Of course." I say giving her a hug. We lay like that for a few minutes before she decides to pull away. However without letting her go or letting her get to far I place my lips gently on hers in a short kiss before saying goodnight.
"Goodnight" she responds with a smile before curling into me and swiftly falling asleep.

The next morning I woke up to an unfamiliar alarm going off. I checked my phone to realize it was 6:30 and time to get up and get ready for school. Maz however groans at her phone telling king Julian to shut up before she kills him... Gotta say I fear for the poor little guys life.

Even with her threatening a beloved lemur that holds a special place in the hearts of many including myself, she's so beautiful with her hair everywhere and her eyelids drooping as she is still half asleep.
"Right it's time to get ready." I announce as I get up and make my way to the door. However before I can open the door I turn around making my way back over the her
"But first..."
I reach out pulling her chin up making it easier for my lips to meet hers before I pull back and look into her eyes.
"Good morning" I smile. She giggles and gives me a shy smile before offering me the same greeting. And with that I take my leave.

Maz's POV.
Drew leaves my room and by turn me with a smile on my face. Last night was amazing. I'm still upset with the news about Zack but Drew is really helping me stay positive. With that thought in mind I get up and start getting ready for school, starting with a quick shower before putting on my uniform and brushing my hair and then my teeth. All done and ready by 7:45 at which time I make my way downstairs to the kitchen to have some breakfast.

When I reach the kitchen Sheila is already in there setting bowls of cereal down in front of the 2 younger boys and before long both Luke and Mason have milk dribbling down their chins, at least they aren't in their uniforms yet or they would be destroyed.

I walk in and make my morning greetings giving Luke a short hug and a kiss on the top of his head. Then moving on to ruffle up Mason's hair which earns me a very disgusted groan and a "go away" to which I laugh. I then go to Sheila and give her a hug greeting her with a good morning before putting some bread in the toaster for my breakfast.

Before long Drew joins us and starts getting out some cereal for his breakfast. As he is passing me he gives me a wink before sticking out his tongue making me laugh to myself.

I eat my toast and clean up my dishes as Drew does the same. We then say good bye to everyone and make our way out to Drew's car to go to school.

About 15 minutes later we arrive at the school. We get out of the car bringing our bags with us heading towards the door of the school as Drew locks the car behind us. When we get to the lockers our friends are there already mingling amongst themselves. I greet everyone with a quick good morning deciding to go to my locker first and get my books sorted.

Once I have all my books for my first 3 classes I go back to my friends to chat for the remaining 10 minutes I have before I have to start getting to class. My first class today is English which I also have with Jason and Brendan. Now that I think about it I have quite a few classes with them. The 3 of us get ready to walk to class together and I give the others a hug telling them I will see them at break time. They each return my hug and say goodbye before grabbing their bags and heading in their own directions except for Drew who gives me a quick peck on the lips before grabbing his bag and saying goodbye.

I start walking towards my English class with Jay and Brendan in tow while I try not to make too much of the fact that Drew just kissed me in the middle of school in front of the guys. And from the looks they are currently giving me the definitely noticed. I try to divert the situation by asking about the homework.
"Soooo... how did you guys find the homework last night?"
"No no no no no no no no. NO! You ain't getting off that easy. There ain't no way you are getting into homework when Drew just kissed you. And so naturally. Like it was nothing!" Brendan obviously doesn't know about our little episode.
"Well you two obviously got over your little lovers tiff from the first time." Jay says as he starts to laugh wholeheartedly.
"It was not a lovers tiff is was quite literally a miss understanding on both parts. And how do you even know? Wait no don't answer that. You obviously know cause Drew told you. But can we not talk about this okay please? And not make a big deal out of it?"
"Fine." They both respond together with a sigh. The conversation ends and we continue to head to class.

It's the end of the day and Drew did the same thing at break and lunch when saying goodbye, everyone kept giving funny looks but no one questioned. I'm currently at my locker getting my books sorted for tonight and talking to Tara she is talking about having a sleepover the weekend. I think I might ask Sheila when I get home if I can have the girls over. She's always telling me to bring home my friends so she might be okay with a sleepover. I personally think one of the reasons she so suddenly wants a sleepover is to talk about the whole situation with Drew I could be wrong but if it's at Drew's house they could be less likely to bring it up. So here's to hoping.

When we get back to the house I go straight to the kitchen knowing that's where I will find Sheila to ask her about the sleepover. When I walk in she greets me with a hug.
"How was school dear?" She asks as she gets back to helping Mason and Luke with their homework.
"It was good, same old. You know... it was school." We both laugh to my non sensical answer.
"Actually I wanted to ask you something. Would it be okay if I had my friends over for a sleepover this weekend?" I ask sheepishly.
Sheila immediately turns to me with a massive grin taking over her features.
"Of course it would love! I'd be delighted to meet them and what better way then a sleepover?" She then turns to address Drew who I hadn't known was behind me.
"And why don't you have the lads over? I haven't seen them in a while and it would be a chance for you all to hang out and get to know each other." She looks so excited and proud of her self that we don't even have the heart to tell her we already hang together in school and Drew doesn't have it in him to say no so he just agrees making her so happy she gives everyone in the room a hug. Looks like now we just have to get to arranging it. Ah I'll tell them all tomorrow in school. No need to worry about it for the moment.
