Okay- so, on July Fourth- I went to a parade early in the morning.

*sigh*

I was standing on the side of the street in the crowd, waiting for it to start- glancing about, minding my own business.

When, out of the corner of my eye- I saw something.

Oh my god, I saw something.

On a telephone pole, someone tacked a flyer- for a YARDBIRDS CONCERT.

YEP.

THEY WOULD BE PLAYING AT 7:30 THAT NIGHT.

AHHHHHHHH.

That's right Steven, you sonofabîtch. Be jealous- be very jealous that I saw your favorite band.

Okay- well, I didn't actually /see/
Them in concert...because, I had plans that night to see fireworks, and- it wouldn't be over until nine.

I would have missed the concert anyways.

Anyway- I went to this huge town in Boston, where we would see the fireworks, and the streets were filled with Gay people.

I looked up dazed and confused, and waved back.
