“Niall it’s been forever since I’ve seen you.” The girl said after her and Niall hugged and now I’m standing off to the side all weird and Niall and her are ‘catching up’

“It’s nice seeing you to, Clary.” Niall says and she starts talking about their past and I’m getting annoyed and bitchy. He hasn’t even mentioned me. I turn and just walk away not even knowing where to go. I don't really care ether if he wants me in his little life here then he can find me.

As I keep walking the sun has disappeared and city lights now give me light, through the traffic I hear loud music and decided to follow it. When I turn onto a sidewalk a huge complex of houses stands in front of me. It’s bright and tons of people are around it. Really how bad could a party be at a time like this? I need something to help my annoying stress level.

When I push past all the people and make my way inside I let out sigh of relief. Parties still aren’t my thing but nobody in Ireland needs to know that. The music is way too loud but I get over it, I try to stay out of the way of people and moving out of the way.

“Excus-” I try saying to a tall blonde boy but then suddenly I’m pushed into him sending his drink on me.

“I’m so sorry.” He says and something about his voice sounds familiar. “Hey Shara?”

I try to draw the spot with another part of my shirt without any help and then I look up. “Chris?”

“Let’s go up to my room and get you cleaned up,” He says nicely taking my hand and pushing through the people. As we go up the stairs I get looks and suddenly I’m realizing what this might look like, I take my hand back and give all the slutty girls the middle finger and Chris ducks into the last room.

“Wow it’s lovely in here.” I say sarcastically, there’s nothing really lovely about the room. The walls are black and there’s a book case full of those old Novels that’s everybody loves but I can’t just find myself liking; then there’s the bed, with of course dark sheets and a dark blue nightstand. “To be honest I didn’t take you as this dark.”

Chris laughs and shuts the door but that doesn’t stop the music and I start to have a headache and crave some alcohol to dash all my problems away. “Oh I’m not it’s just how the frat wants the rooms.”

A million questions run through my mind but I just quickly wash them away and ask the one I deserve to know. “Why are you in Ireland I thought you lived in America?”

Chris grabs a cloth and goes into the bathroom and I feel like following but I stop myself and just sit on his bed. “I’m from Ireland.” He says laughing and turns off the sink. “My sister’s lives there and I was just visiting. What about you?”

He walks across the carpet and sits on the bed close to me, so close I can smell his cologne. “I… Uh my brother is here traveling and I came with him.”

Chris moves closer, so close I can see now that he’s eyes are not dark blue but a lovely brown. I dislike brown color eyes on guys but with Chris they look wonderful. “And you just left him? I can’t imagine you’d leave him for some party.”

I shake my head and a small smile slips onto my lips. “He uh met a girl in the park. I didn’t feel like sticking around.”

Chris nods and leans forward, for a second I feel as if he’s going to kiss me. “Do you mind?” He asks and I look down to see he was really going to wipe the beer off my favorite shirt. I shake my head no and watch as he daps away and I laugh.

“I remember you telling me you don’t drink?”

“I also remember you getting drunk.” He laughs and I blush. “It was my friends anyway.”
