Chapter 3

A/N Ok number one I was going to update yesterday and the storm messed up my laptop and deleted chapter 3 so I’m pretty pissed ok.

“You okay Shara?” Carley asked as I stalked in the room and laid on my bed, burying my face in the pillow. After a few minutes I still remembered Carley wanted an answer, but not in the mood I waved my hands to tell her no but her upset sigh made me cave in and I started telling her.

“She just said no. She didn’t even give a reason.” I sighed after finishing and looked up to Carley who didn’t show one emotion. I played with the bracelet on my wrist; I really wish I had one direction bracelet. I wish I could see One direction, that’s all I really wanted, even if I was high up about to get a nose bleed or being hit by screaming thirteen year old girls.

“Hey don’t take this the wrong way.” It took me a few seconds to realize she was talking to me. “But why does your mom not let you have any freedom?”

I looked up at her then down at my messy floor which I knew I would have to clean after Carley went home. I snapped out of my thoughts.

“I guess she just thinks they’ll rape me.”

I try being serious but I end up laughing at the end and Carley ends up cracking up to. It’s nice to laugh and not always have to do work and be my best.

Carley packs up and leaves and I start to clean up my room listening to music and planning out which books to read for school. I don’t talk to my mother for the rest of the day and we eat dinner in silence, which I hated. I clean up dinner, walk upstairs, take a shower and I fall asleep after hours of thinking.

When I wake up, bright sun is what I first see and my hamster running on the wheel. Oh come on your supposed to only be active at night you furball.

I apply make-up, curl my hair and pick out clothes to wear. I end up wearing a light purple dressy top and jean shorts. I grab my laptop and a good book and head towards the garage.

I grab my bike and realize I really should get me a car before going off to college. I make a note of that and suddenly I feel fur rubbing against my leg.

“Good morning to you to Willow.” I say to my cat and stroke her back as she purrs softly. It’s actually about eleven am, so it’s not morning to me.

My mother is surely going to be pissed off at me for riding my bike to the local coffee shop just up the road without telling her but as I start peddling I realize I don’t care. Its just up the road.

I arrive in twenty minutes which on a bike is forever, I lock up my bike, stretch my legs and go to order my favorite coffee. The Vanilla mocha.

I grab a small table towards the back away from people and start up my laptop, sipping lazily at my drink and looking around before turning my music on.

I make a whole new page towards things I need to do for school.

·       Read three books, each different genre. (Ewwww)

·       Write a report about your favorite one telling about the different plots. (What gross)

·       And finally write a collage essay. (Okay...?)

They seem quite easy but with everything else I don’t know if I’ll find time, well I’m sure I would. I always have time with my boring life, unless Carley calls me up but she knows my feelings towards school, or maybe it's my mothers not mine.

I go back to reading the boring novel and only turn my head up when the door at the front rings and step in five boys wearing hoodies. I snort to myself and cover it up with taking a sip of my coffee when I get a weird look.

I read until I hear their footsteps as they sit at the long table right next to my small high up table, I take a quick look and go back to reading to stop only thirty minutes later because I feel one of them staring at me.

“Can I help you?” I snap, laying my book flat turning towards them.

“Yeah stop staring.” One says giggling and there’s something familiar about his accent, he’s not from here I guess.

I let the thought go as soon as the other one who sips at his drink and stands up to stretch his arm says something. “Lewis.”

He gives a sharp look at the giggling, almost out of breath boy while the other play on their phones.

I grab my book, place the bookmark in it and stuff my laptop in the case. I take a sip of coffee and turn back towards the guys, the blonde one, I believe he’s blonde it’s hard to tell under the hood although I see gorgeous blue eyes staring at my pale blue ones.

I shake my head and stop staring, he’s gorgeous there’s no way he’d go for a girl like me, so why stare. Well he was staring at me.

“Niel stop staring.” Lewis, I guess giggles trying to make his voice deeper as he fixes the hood. I give them a small wave and head towards the door but I can’t get out before I catch the Irish accent float up from the table and meet my ears.

“It’s not my fault she’s beautiful.”
