Molly's P.O.V.
As we were loping I thought about what Hank said about the legend. "It was so sad that Shallow and his herd had to kill themselves to be safe from the round up people. It would of been so cool to see wild horses running on the property near the river."

As we were loping we saw that we were getting closer to the ranch. We could see the barn in the distance. As we were riding we see some deers with their fawns. The fawns look so cute. As we rode pass them I check my watch to see what time it was and it read that it was 10am.

15 minutes later

We rode into the barnyard, their was no one around, the corals that are used have 5 horses in 4 of the corals near the pastures and the other 2 near the barn has no horses. So we untacked our horses, and groomed them and we cleaned our horse's hooves so that they don't become lame. Than we put them out in the corals with the other ranch horses. As I was walking towards the bunkhouse Hank turned to me smiling and said "I will see you at lunch."

"Yea, see you," I say smiling back to him.

I watch as he turned and walked towards the house. I smiled as I turned and walked towards the bunkhouse, as I thought about Hank he was different from my past boyfriends I had. They were nice but they don't want a girl who only talked about there horses and not about them.

As I walked into the bunkhouse I see Ben Dillon sitting at the table reading the newspaper. Ben is in his 60's. He sometimes cooks for the ranch hands.

"Howdy, Molly," he says smiling at me.

"Hi, Ben," I say smiling back at him.

"How did the ride with boss last night go?" he asks.

"It was good. Until the snowstorm hit, than it wasn't good," I say.

"Yea that storm was cold and windy the other ranch hands and me had to bring in the horses last night," he said standing up from the table. "So I got to go and check on the fence lines."

"I'll see you later then."

"See you later," he says.

As he was leaving the bunkhouse. I went to the bedroom that I'm staying in, the room was the same size as the rest of the rooms. The room is a baby blue colour, the furniture is all white the bed was a twin size, there was 2 doors. One of the doors on the right is the closest and the other one on the left lead to the bathroom. The bathroom has a sink on the right side of the door, a toilet that is beside the sink, a shower that is a cross from the toilet and a bathtub that is between the toilet and the shower.

I went to the closest to get some clothes, I grabbed a pair of blue jeans, an red checked button up t-shirt, undergarments and socks. I went to the bathroom to take a shower and get the sweat off from this mornings ride.

After 10 minutes I got out of the shower and got dressed. I want and looked at my phone and saw that I had 2 missed calls from my parents. So I called my parents back.

Ring....

Ring....

Ring....

"Hello," a woman voice said though the phone.

"Hi, mom."

"Molly is that you?" mom says questionably.

"Yes, mom it me," I said smiling. "How are you, dad and Andy(my older brother) doing?" I ask.

"We're doing fine." mom says. "How was your first week at the ranch?"

"It's pretty good. I meet a lot of new people, and Coco and me are fitting in."

"That's good to hear."

So mom and I talk for 10 more minutes before we said bye and ended the call. After hanging up I look at the clock and seen that it's 10:50am. So I have anuff time to check on Coco, then go to the farmhouse for lunch.

After lunch
I was in the barn moving hay bales around.

"Molly are you in here," Jim calls from the barn door.

"In the hayloft," I call down to him. Walking over to the ladder and going down to the barn ally. Where Jim is standing waiting.

"Hank went us to check the fence line in the north pasture, Jim says to me. "Ok, we can go now if you aren't busy," I say.

"Ok but are you finished in the hayloft," he asks.

"Yup."

We going our separate ways to get our horses from the pasture. I see that Coco is standing by the gate waiting for me to come and get her. I open the gate and attache a lead rope to her halter and walk her out of the  gate, and tried to close the gate. We started walking back to the barn. I groom her and then tack her up. She throw her head up into the air and neigh really loud and stomp her right hoof it was to say "Hurry up and lets go.

A little later

Jim and I loped out to the north pasture that was empty but we take some of the cattle in the summer time up there. We rode to the fence line to check for any brakes in the fence so that we don't lose any cattle.

As we were riding we came across a broken fence. It look like something cut the fence. So we got down off our horses and replaced it with new barbwire.

"It looked like something cut the wire, doesn't it," I say. As we rode back to the ranch.

"Yes it does and Hank needs to know," he says.
