The World Beyond (A Yosuke Hanamura Love Story)

Rescue Mission!

Ayame's POV:

As Naoto, Kanji, Yu, Yosuke and I all ran along the road leading through the shopping district Kanji and Naoto suddenly came to a stop in front of us all,

''Is that......smoke?'' Kanji said quietly,

''*gasp* an accident!?'' Naoto gasped as we all started to run in that direction, when we got there we saw Dojima on the ground with his head bleeding, his car was spouting smoke from the bonnet and Adachi-san was next to him, covering him in his jacket.

''Dojima-san!'' Naoto shouted as Yu ran to his side, Dojima whispered something into his ear and Yu spoke to him quietly. Naoto called an ambulance whilst the rest of us were talking about what we would do now. Naoto hung up the phone and put it back in her pocket.

''That's it maybe there will be clues in Namatame's truck!'' Yosuke shouted from beside me but before we could do anything Adachi-san spoke up.

''No you can't we need to preserve the scene!'' Naoto glared at him and pulled a cloth out of her pocket,

''then allow me if it rains again whilst we stand here, the evidence we need will be lost regardless!'' With that she walked to the drivers seat of the truck, man it feels good to have an ace detective on our team!

''look there really is a TV in there!'' Chie shouted after the rest of the team arrived, and when we all looked into the back of the truck she was right a large flatscreen was indeed inside the back. Naoto came back round to where we were with something in her hands at a closer look it was a book of some kind.

''Yes large enough for persons of any size to fit into, I also recovered a diary from the drivers seat most likely kept by Namatame's himself. *Gasp* It has everyone's names and addresses; Myumi Yamano, Saki Konishi, Yukiko Amagi, Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kugikawa, Naoto Shirogane, Ayame Tanaka... even the victims that were never realised to the public are in this book. I also notice that Mr Morooka's name is absent from the list.''

''Incredible, that basically proves he did it!'' Adachi-san said, at his words I felt a shiver run down my spine. I turned to look at him, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was suspicious about him but I couldn't prove anything not with Namatame's diary having all our names and addresses in it. I looked to Naoto she seemed to be looking at Adachi-san too, was she thinking the same as me?

''We have to save Nanako-chan, here lets use this TV and....'' but before Chie could jump into the TV Teddie held her back,

''we can't we don't know where we might end up if we use this one, we might end up somewhere dangerous and if we fail who will save Nana-chan then? It doesn't look like it will be foggy tomorrow so we should go in tomorrow the normal way, through the TV at Junes'' he said frantically Yu looked like he wanted to protest but before he could Naoto jumped in,

''Saving Nanako-chan will be our top priority from tomorrow onwards, we can leave Namatame's whereabouts to the police. We will not rest until she is found and safely back with us once more'' we all looked to her and nodded in agreement, she was right best to go in the safe way and save her fast. She is so small so we have no idea what kind off toll it will take on her when all of us were only just able to keep consciousness in that world.

(The next day, at Junes)

None of us said anything we were all thinking, so there was no need for talking, we all simply looked to each other and nodded. This was the first time that I would be entering the TV world of my own free will and be fighting alongside my persona in stead of against my shadow. Yosuke looked to me worriedly but I gave him a look that said, 'I'm going, don't try to stop me!' he still looked worried but softened into a smile and nodded as we all headed for the electronics department and stood in front of the entrance TV before jumping in one at a time.
