  We explained the Spike incident that happened at school to Uncle Donny and he nearly had a heart attack! I tried to calm him by saying, "Well, at least everyone already knew he's bionic." He just glared at me. Later, I spend a few hours training with Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo before we go to bed. Going to sleep always scares me because I always have nightmares that are very hard to recover from. Now, I'm not as scared anymore, because Chase always comforts me.

  I am trapped in another fire, but this time, my mother is with me. I run to her crying, "Mom!" As soon as I wrap my arms around her, she disappears. I start to cry, afraid and confused. The fumes from the smoke burn my eyes and the fire scorches my body. I start screaming and suddenly find myself in my bedroom. I look to my left and see Chase running toward me. He stops at my doorway. "Are you okay," he asks, clearly worried. "I'm fine," I reply, catching my breath. "It was just a nightmare. I've always had nightmares ever since my mom died." His eyes show guilt. "I'm sorry," he says, sincerely. I shake my head, "It's okay. It's not your fault."

  He stays there for a few more seconds before turning away. I call his name before he exits, "Chase?" He immediately stops and turns around, "Yeah?" "Help me," I whisper. He looks sad and concerned. He walks over to the side of my bed and I make room for him to climb in. He wraps his arms around me and holds me. I rest my head on his chest and immediately relax. Nobody but Chase can ever help me recover from nightmares. Not even Daddy. Just Chase.

  It is peacefully silent. Then Chase says, "I know I scared you today. When Spike came out. I could see it in your eyes." I don't know how to reply to this. I was scared, but I didn't say it out loud. Appearantly, he already knew. "I hate that side of me," he continues. "Sometimes, I don't even know who I am, and I hate that I scared you. It devastates me. I'm also scared. Scared of what I might to do people. To my family. To you. I really am like the Hulk, and it scares me half to death." He is silent. I see sadness in his eyes. I can't stand it when he is upset. I close my eyes, reach up to touch his cheek, and kiss him softly on his lips. He smiles and rubs my cheek. "I love you," he whispers. I smile, "I love you, too."
