Hiccups POV
"What in thors name is going on?"

Both our head snap towards the entrance of the great hall, and there stood none other than,

Astrid.

Me and y/n both separated and looked at her. She stormed over in front of us, her hip popped out to the side.

"What are you doing with this wench?" Astrid asked.
"Astrid please," I started.

"Excuse me?" Y/n said, clearly offended.
"Y/n,"

She held up her hand, signaling for me to be quiet. I shut my mouth.

"You heard me, you were just about to kiss my boyfriend." Astrid snapped.
"Okay little miss high and mighty, I was not going to kiss hiccup. He was-"

"Save it, bitch!" Astrid spat, throwing her fist at y/n, it connecting with her lower jaw.

I gasp softly. "Astrid that's enough!" I yell.
Y/n got off the ground with a bloody lip, giving Astrid a death glare.
Her tattoo on her upper arm starts glowing f/c, then her eyes change that color too.
"Hold on..." I mutter. But it was too late, y/n threw herself at Astrid, tackling her to the ground.

"What the hell is going on?!"
"Eret help me get them off each other!"

Eret nodded and dove into the middle of the fight, grabbing y/n, I grab Astrid.

We pull them apart, both of them struggling In our grasps.
"I'm gonna kill that tramp!" Astrid yelled.
"Try me, whore." Y/n snarled.

"Okay, I think that's enough excitement for tonight. I'm going to take y/n home now." Eret said, still holding the squirming y/n in his arms. Her f/c eyes and tattoo still left me confused.

"Good idea," I reply before I start to drag Astrid one way, Eret takes y/n in the other direction.

Your POV
I sat on Erets couch as he dabbed a wet cloth on my busted lip. Sapphire rested her head in my lap while I pet her head.
I wince slightly and Eret pulls the rag away and sighs. "You need to be more careful."
He said going back to cleaning my lip.

"It's just a busted lip Eret, I'll be fine."

"No y/n, I'm talking about this!" He said sternly, grabbing my arm, showing me my tattoo. It was glowing f/c. I sigh.
"You know I can't help it Eret,"
"But it's dangerous."
"I can handle it! Just get me a cold rag."

Eret sighed at your stubbornness and got you a rag in cold water. You took it and wrapped it around your upper arm. "It's not that I think you can't win a fight. Believe me, I know you can. But you know how unpredictable you can be when that thing is activated"

I snarl at him. "I just need to cool down. Like I said."

Eret rolled his eyes. "You don't scare me, you big softie." I huffed and looked fake offended. "Oh really? How about I give you a black eye, huh?" I playfully threatened, showing Eret my fist.    Eret laughed "Oh yeah, you and what army?" He said while coming at me, I playfully growled at him then let out a yelp of surprise as he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder. I laughed hard. "Eret! Put me down!"  I said in between laughs. 

Someone cleared their throat by the door. Both Eret and I turn our heads and see Hiccup standing in the doorway. Eret cleared his throat and set me down on the ground. I straightened up my armor and tucked a few stray hairs behind my ear. "Hey, Hiccup," I said softly. 

He cleared his throat and scratched his head. "Can I talk to y/n please?" he asked. Eret nodded and walked up the stairs, but not before punching me playfully in the shoulder. Hiccup stepped in the door. "You two see, close." 

I nodded softly. "Aye, you could say that."

Hiccup cleared his throat. "Well, um, I want you to know that the whole Astrid situation was handled. You shouldn't have to worry about her jealousy spirts anymore." I tilted my head slightly. "Jealousy spirts? There's hardly anything to be jealous of." I half chuckle, then pause. "Unless you two were-"

"We were." He interupted me. "But that is over now." he said gently, scraping his foot across the floor. I frown slightly, sitting back down on the couch, patting the seat beside me for him to sit. "I'm sorry to hear that." Hiccup shrugged and walked over and sat next to me. "Well," he continued, "It is what it is I guess."

I shrugged softly too. It didn't seem that way to me. It seemed like they had history just by the way he was acting. And I ruined it all. I sighed. "I'm sorry, I knew me staying here was a bad idea. I pratically damage anything I touch." I half laugh. 

Hiccup frowned as he looked at me. "That's not true. For one I am happy you're here. And I know Eret is for sure." I shrugged away his words. "Ah, Eret and I have been meeting eachother for a while now. If I hadn't so generously decided to stay I'm sure that would still be happening right underneath your nose." I smirked softly. Hiccup chuckled. "And that gives me a mental reminder,
Up our patols around the island." We both share a laugh. It was so easy to laugh around him. We looked at each other for a moment, just staring into the eyes of one another. I was the first one to break the trance. We both sat there in awkward silence. 

"Well, thanks for stopping by." I finally said with half a smile. "Uh, yeah. No problem." Hiccup said quickly, rubbing his hands on his knees before lifting himself up from the couch. I did the same and we both walked to the door. "Well, goodnight." Hiccup said over his shoulder as he walked out of the door. A soft smile spread on my lips. 

"Goodnight, Hiccup Haddock."
