Axel and his father sat on the couch,waiting for Axel's mobility coach to arrive.Words couldn't describe how nervous Axel was.What if this couldn't work or what if Axel couldn't learn fast a enough.The doorbell rang,snapping Axel from his thoughts

"Here goes nothing"he mumble

Mr.Rodgers lead Axel's mobility coach through the house and to the living room where Axel sat

"Hello Axel,I'm Shayna and I'm going to be your mobility coach until you're up moving around on you own again"

'Is it still too late to have second thoughts'Axel's subconscious ask him.Axel felt like he really didn't have a choice,he wanted to be normal again expect only he would be blind

Axel was soon lead outside to start with just simply walking around the neighborhood.He heard coach Shayna say something but he wasn't listening,he was too caught up in his thoughts

"Now we'll start by holding your cane in your right hand and keep your arm out straight.Doing that will help you to be prepared for objects ahead of you so just keep your arm and move your stick from left to right"Axel nodded and did what he was told

Axel was so far doing pretty good for someone who just started.He had made a whole lot of progress that day that coach Shayna thought he was ready to try walking the neighborhood by himself.Coach Shayna couldn't really tell him how he would find his house again because for one he was walking a big neighborhood with tons of different houses and two there was nothing infront of the house that he could feel to know it was his house but Axle's brother Jc promised that he walk Axel home each and everyday

"Well Axel I've got to admit,you have really impressed me.I guess next week I'm going to have try something a little different but don't worry,I promise you're going to like it"she smiled as an idea came to

Axel sat next to his brother in the family as he played video games.Axel had really missed playing video games with brother.He remember how they use to play Call of Duty with the zombies on it and Jc literally scream once because a zombie jumped out of nowhere and killed him

Axel to this day still kept that a secret between him and his brother but every now and then Axel would blackmail him if he wanted from his brother.Jc hated it but he did everything Axel wanted all because of an embarrassing memory

"Hey Jc?do you think Mom and Dad still love me"Jc paused his game and gave Axel a hurtful look

"Of course they do,why do you think otherwise"Axel shrugged.Axel had been noticing how distance his parents were lately and the thought just came to him.He felt like they didn't love him anymore because he was disable.Axel had hoped that it didn't come to that

"Axel,I'm sure they love you very much.It's just that this came out of nowhere and they're still trying to take in the fact that you are disable now,they weren't ready for this and neither were you but we have to see how this all plays out and it's going to take some time but trust me,they will adjust and they honestly don't have a choice"Axel took his brother words

Jc was right

Mr. and Mrs.Rodgers didn't see this coming,it just came out the blue

Axel's parents truly do love Axel with all of their hearts.This is new to them but they were just going to have to except the fact that there's nothing they can really do but be there for their son

"You're right,I guess I was just letting my thoughts get the best of me"Axel said

"It's okay Axel,now let's order in some pizza"Jc said which made Axel laugh

This was going to take some time but Axel was willing to be patient
