Friday's night game came quickly. Of course with the Bulldogs winning. Axel and his family couldn't be more happy that he was back on the team and for someone who couldn't see, Axel was doing very well.

The Rodgers held a team cook out in their backyard. Words of encouragement were exchanged, the team laughing just genuinely having a good time.

Axel laughed about something Jc said. He's missed the brotherly things they use to do. Axel was extremely greatful of Jc. For sticking in there and being the big brother he needed.

"Hey, could you find Alyana? I'm calling quits for tonight."

"Did I hear my name?" She soon perked up

"Yeah I was just telling Jc how I was turning in early and wanted to wish you good night."

"Well the least I can do is help you in the house." Axel makes his rounds and head off with Alyana

They laughed as they stumbled up the stairs. Once they made to his room in one piece, they crashed on his bed.

"So do I need to help you get undressed or?"

"If I didn't know any better I would think you wanted to see me naked." He teased

"You wish. No but for real?"

"I think I can manage but you better not be checking me out."

He shuffled over to the closest, feeling out the fabrics. Axel pulled out an cotton shirt and sweats.

Alyana watched silently as her boyfriend undressed. She thought it was quite funny how he laid on the bed with his feet in the air to put on his pants.

Axel came back to the bed, pulling his shirt over his head.

"You were staring?" He teased once again

"Only at how funny you looked." They laughed in union

Slowy silence began to surround them.

"I should go. It's getting late."

"Why don't you stay?"

"I'm sure your parents won't like that."

"They love you regardless. Plus I'm asking you to sleep over not have sex. Unless you wanted to."

Alyana punches him. She clamberd under the covers with him, getting comfortable.

"You okay? I can feel your stiffness."

"Yeah just a little nervous. You're my first ever boyfriend. I wanna take things slow and not rush."

"Believe me, I know. I like where we are in our relationship. I never want you pressure you into things we're both not ready for."

Alyana cuddled closer to his side.

"Thanks for waiting."

"With you, it's worth."

She pressed her lips to his as they moved in sync. Axel placed a hand on her cheek, stroking it slowly. They pulled away with Alyana smiling.

"Wanna know the perks about being blind?"

Hmm?

"I don't need to see to kiss you."

"Go to sleep Axel."
