"Can we pleeeeease blow this joint?" A very bored Jubilee asked as she spun her straw around in her cup. "Let's go back to the mall!"
"Ja!" Kurt exclaimed, snapping his head up as an excited look contorted his face at the mention of the mall. "Let's go back zere!"
"Kurt, no offense buddy, but we've been to the mall at least four times this week." Scott groaned out as he pushed his left over food away from him. "We need to do—"
"We can't." Jean stared, shaking her head as she folded her arms on the table. "Professor X said that we needed to be back to the school around seven, remember?"
Jubilee groaned as the Professors words came flooding back, as did the other two boys. Kurt let out a sad sigh as he collected the empty plates, placing them into a pile before Scott went to throw them away.
"I forgot about zat." Kurt said as he wrung out his hands. "Do you know vhat ze professor vanted?"
"We're getting a new student." Jean told her friends as she stood up, waiting for the others to follow before continuing. "He wanted us, along with a few others, to show them around."
"How many is a few others?"
"Peter, Ororo, and Varren." Kurt said with a nod as he suddenly remembered what Charles had said. "Ze new student is supposed to be coming soon, ja?" He asked, following the others out of the diner.
"I hope he, or she, is willing to hang out with us." Jubilee said with a small sigh, tossing Jean a small smirk as she gave her a knowing look. "Please don't scare whoever it is, away."
"Enough about that, Jubilee." Jean said, giving the two boys a shake of her head when they gave her looks of confusion. "Let's just head home. Kurt, think you can teleport us back?"
"Ja, definitely!"

"This is..."
"A lot to take in, I understand. But don't worry." Charles gave his newest student a reassuring smile, crossing his hands in his lap as he watched her look around with wide eyes. "I'm sure that you will fit in quite nicely, Camille."
The student, Camille, spun around to face Charles again, her furry tail fidgeting wildly behind her as she did so. "Do you really think so?" She asked, her voice shaking slightly.
"I know so." Charles nodded his head, reaching down to the joystick on his chair to move towards her. "Now, some of the students will be coming soon to give you a small tour of the school."
"Others." Camille smiled, her bright hazel eyes widening slightly at the mention of possible friends. "When will they be coming—"
A sudden knock echoed throughout the room, making Camille jump at the sudden noise. Charles' smile widened even more, if possible, and he turned to face the door. "That should be them." He told her. "Come in."
