Maka screamed. The demon turned to Maka and howled with laughter. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW LITTLE MEISTER!!!??" The demon bellowed. Maka balled her fists up and charged towards the demon. "DAMN YOU!! HOW DARE YOU SMACK SOUL AROUND!!!" The demon swiped his hand and knocked her into the wall as well. Her body slammed into the wall and she landed on her hands and knees, coughing out blood. The demon crackled a chaotic laugh. "Well there's only a two minutes left to go..... GIVE UP NOW!!!" Maka slowly pushed herself off the ground
"never..... We won't give up.... That's just not cool..... And that's not how we roll"
Maka steadily got herself up and took her stance. Maka looked over at Soul's body and noticed something about the way Soul looked lying on the ground. She grinned when she finally understood what was wrong with him and looked back at the demon..... "You know what??" Maka began to declare "I'M GONNA BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!!" Maka bolted towards the demon "NOW SOUL!!!" Suddenly Soul got back up and charged towards Maka holding his hand out "W-WHAT??!!" The demon quickly turned around to swat Soul back.... But he was too slow. Soul just managed to dodge it and Maka grabbed his hand. Soul smirked and with a flash he turned into a scythe. Maka took her stance and stood before the demon
"Lets end this cool.... Okay Maka!!!"
Maka grinned.
"Don't worry I already plan to"
Maka took her stance, gripping tightly on to her scythe. Soul was finally back in her hands. "Lets go Maka.... One hit, then we are home free...." Maka grinned.
"Lets make this Count then"
Maka swinged her scythe back and prepared herself. "Why you little" the demon began to charge at Maka, raising his hand to hit Maka again. Maka stepped to the side dodging his hit, then she leaped up high and spun her scythe around so the scythe hovered above her head.
"TASTE THIS YOU DAMN DEMON!!!"
Maka thrusted the scythe down aiming for the top of his head. With one slice she cut the demon in half. She landed back on both her feet and swivelled around to see the Demon crumble in defeat.
"Y-you.... Got me...."
The demon fell flat and began to be absorbed by the ground. "I'LL GET YOU TWO!!! You wait!! MADNESS WILL" The demon became completely absorbed by the ground that he didn't finish his sentence. Soul changed back into his human form and kicked the spot the Demon laid.
"Yeah, yeah, shut up and give it a rest will ya?!!"
Maka laughed slightly , but her laughter was cut short when she looked at the red blood in Soul's white hair. "Soul....are you okay?? Your head" Soul gently touched his head. "Yeah.... I should be fine" suddenly he grabbed Maka's hand that was in his head and kissed it gently. "Thank you Maka.... For finding me" Maka blushed a little but she smiled. "It's o-.... OH CRAP!!!"
Suddenly Maka remembered they only had a less than a minute left. "SOUL!!! WE HAVE TO GET OUT NOW!!!" Maka and Soul both bolted to the door and pried it open. They looked out the door and saw nothing, but when then looked down they saw a whirlpool.
"That must be our one way ticket home then" Soul stated, Maka nodded her head in reply. She grabbed Soul's arm and he grinned at her. He grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers with hers.
"Together then..." Soul reassured Maka.
"Yeap....."
Maka looked down and took a deep breath.
"3...2....1....."
