there isn't really too much to say about this one either. i've had several ideas from other one-shot books to do an internet friends one-shot. this was a little rushed, i apologize. it's not my best work. i guess kenma would be most likely to have internet friends. anyways, enjoy !

most of us know that moment. that moment you accidentally texted someone you didn't mean to.
this time, it was more embarrassing, kenma had accidentally texted a complete stranger.

(y/n)theotaku: hello, um, you randomly texted me. was it a wrong username or..?

kenthecat: yes.. i apologize. i must've typed in something wrong..

(y/n)theotaku: it's okay! just so we don't make this conversation too awkward, tell me about yourself. we can be internet best friends. when we meet we can tackle each other into a hug like those cute internet friend videos on youtube!

kenma found himself blushing.
he didn't know anything about this person, where they're from, how old are they, etc.

kenthecat: sure, i guess i can use a friend.

(y/n)theotaku: so, are you a high schooler?

kenthecat: why yes, yes, i am. are you?

(y/n)theotaku: yes ! do you, by any chance, live in japan? your location says japan. if so, i live in japan as well !

'why is she asking me all these personal questions?' kenma thought to himself.

kenthecat: yes, what a coincidence.

(y/n)theotaku: hey what school do you go to?

okay, now this just got weird.

kenthecat: um, can you tell me where you go first? if you don't mind me asking.

(y/n)theotaku: karasuno

kenthecat: what a surprise, one of my friends goes there. i'm assuming you know nekoma high right?

(y/n)theotaku: yep ! one of my best friends, hinata shoyo always talks about his volleyball games with nekoma.

kenthecat: hey, i know shoyo. we should meet up sometime. you sound really cool.

(y/n)theotaku: sure! that sounds great!

kenthecat: maybe tomorrow? we'll meet at 10 am. bring shoyo with you alright. he knows what i look like.

(y/n)theotaku: sure, we'll meet at that video game store in the mall. i'm excited to actually see you in person.

kenthecat: me too. anyways i have to go, goodnight.

kenma smiled at his phone and turned it off.
this '(y/n)theotaku' person interested him.
she moved through friendships quickly, but she seemed like a cool person.
he sure was excited.

kenma stares at his phone, waiting inside the video game store. he glanced at games every now and then, but that wasn't important right now.

"kenma!!" he sees a orange haired sunshine.
"oh shoyo, where's (y/n)?" he said, looking at the empty spot next to him.
"oh she's checking out the 3ds games!"

"the legend of zelda, majora's mask..." you mumble to yourself.
"maybe pokémon omega ruby?" the decisions.
a tap on your shoulder interrupted you.
"(y/n)?"
you turn around to see a boy around your age, a sunny shoyo standing next to him.
"i'm guessing you're kenma." you say, admiring his feautures.
'he's cute...'
you blush at the thought.
"yeah. i'm kenma. it's finally nice to meet you (y/n)."

;timeskip to two months later;

you and kozume were the best of friends.
it's funny how you two got so close in a short period of time.
also, in that short period of time, you happened to develop feelings for him.

kozume:-): hey (y/n), i have something important to tell you. that means i'm coming over.

(y/n):-): alright, see you at home.

you fiddled with your fingers as you waited for kenma to come in.

the doorbell rang and you sprang up.
you answered and you were immediently engulfed in a huge bear hug.
"kozume...?"
"(y/n). i can't keep it in any longer. it's eating me away."
you look at his tear-stained face to realize he was crying.
"(y/n). i like you. hell, maybe even love you. you've helped me so much during my worst times. thank you so much. i want to show my gratitude for that. please, (y/n), be my girlfriend."
"kozume. of course i'll date you. i've developed feelings f-"
before you can even finish, kenma pulled you into a loving kiss.

"i'm glad we met, (y/n)."
